Wow! I love the mud bed. This is so organic and creative. Clothes drying on the line and blowing in the wind. Now this is a simple but rich life in my opinion No mortgage payments, no debt just living in nature and enjoying all its gifts. Thanks for the amazing content, Kimberly.
I know the grass always looks greener on the other side of the street, but after living 40 years of selling my soul to America’s fractured paradigm- this seems like paradise on earth to me.
Thank you for showing us your home! I love these documentary videos. I have seen several of them from several different parts of the African continent. (For a while, Malawi put out quite a few.) I love seeing how people in different parts of the world live, and I'm especially interested in sub-Saharan Africa because I have ancestry from that area. I think this is the way God intended people to live, and the rest of us would be a lot happier if we were able to not be enslaved by the corporate machine and the grid, and made our own life in harmony with the rhythm of nature. The only thing I wouldn't be able to handle is the goat yelling 🤣. My mother grew up in a very, very rural and simple area, not too much different from this.
I like that every one seems to help out, and it's so clean, I look how hard you all work, and we have electricity to do most all our work, and you all make me feel really bad, because everything is so clean I feel bad, because I don't do as much, But Thanks so much for sharing your culture with me. God Bless each of you 🙏🙏
Wow! The architecture is quite impressive 👏they try to add life and taste on there beds, granaries and shelf😊😊I love how African kids run homesteads there like milking goats. That lady is a hero😊😊😊
So delightful!!!, revisiting real African homestead style. At least I grew up at what is close to this very typical one. No where people so much environmentally friendly and natural. I can't thank enough for everything. Jokjokamalo.
So beautiful..the houses are round and the buildings(barns) are also round! 😍 May the Almighty Lord His Holy Blessings Shines Upon Them All 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌞🌞🌞🌞✨✨✨✨😊😊😊👍👍👍👍
That's a beautiful home, so nice and simple, it has everything she needs. Haha I like the way the boy is holding the goats foot so that he can milk without the goat running off. That storage for food, Kikuyu's call that ikobe (spelling)
As a Kenyan who has grown up in almost a similar setting, these are beautiful scenes in a video UNTIL ITS ITS THE ONLY THING YOU HAVE or UNTIL ITS YOUR EVERYDAY LIFESTYLE
this is not a problem for those who know only this.Problem is those who think they know better and try to change people or make laws that male this life difficult or tell them to go to the city with no city skills they end up in slums doing anything for a living. This is a respectable life that if untouched by "educated" people this can be done for the next 4 000 years.
It’s mostly western people commenting. Many are racist and enjoy seeing these African people struggling everyday. Then there’s that constantly crying 😭 baby to deal with. It’s their nightmare of poverty. She even has to lock 🔐 up her storage.
The earth is our everyday lifestyle until we return to it. Nothing, not even the Caucasians ideology, is more important. Plane= bird. Car = horse power. Fish = submarine. I could go for days.
Ppl who live like this will be the ones to survive when the world as we know it crumbles! Like @vanhuvanhuvese2738 said this life can sustain and thrive for thousands and thousands of years. It has already been proven.
It is life for them from the beginning they know no other! Life is as hard for them as it is us just in different ways! You say you love it and would like to go but if you do not live there from birth it would be to hard for you!
Hard working people that live in these villages everything they produce build carry child on back while working. Prayers to you and your family wow🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️
Indigenous skill, using sustainable materials, to create a comfortable life-support system to maintain a self-sufficient life-style which is under threat from the so called developed world.
Where there's a will, there's a way. Every country & continent has thought of brilliant ways to survive without the assistance of modern technology. It is quite interesting. Some of these things I look at and say "Why didn't I think of that?". Instead of paying $600 for a mattress that I thought could properly accommodate my need for support, all I had to do was turn to RU-vid. This is a lovely video. Thank you for sharing this lifestyle with us
Looks like the mud bed is inside the kitchen . So the hut is used for cooking and sleeping. Is that where the young lady and her child live. She sure is a hard worker.
Idk what tribe your from but thats the most 😍 life. All yous people l are down to earth, don't let nobody change yous. Awesome huts , my people lived in wigwam ; lakotas& Dakota and other tribes lived in tee pees and hogan's and other tribes what thier houses were. But everything was a circle. Now we live in square houses. Life is a circle.
