Africa is the motherland of the planet and of humans. So, of course, Indian cooking is similar. I was born and partly brought up in the Caribbeans and Caribbean people are also a mixture of Africans, Indians, and Tainos.
In India it is called Bhatura. We put curds and soda bi- carb to make the dough. It is fried in oil. But we put more oil to fry so that the sheets of the dough does not stick to the corners and will be fried to get a good appealing colour. It is eaten with chickpea curry. Both dishes together will be awesome, alongwith lemon, raw onion, tomato and cucumber cubes. Very yummy!

I was born in the Caribbeans, St. Croix, which isn't the original name of that island and I agree with you. It is so sad that a lot of other people, especially of color, are still brainwashed to believe that Africans aren't ancestors of humans.
Oh dear sister in Christ Jesus the little 🐥 chick's are so cute the 🥇 food 🥑 looks so delicious I thank you so much for sharing my 🍵 cup overflows. much love always ❤️
Miss Dosha, we make smaller size dough balls and make poori. Bigger dough balls for making bhatura. It's the same process. We usually have it with spicy mashed potato. For the fish we lightly fry it first, then add to the gravy. We apply salt, turmeric and keep aside for some time, then fry. We have fish curry with rice.
Love frm India.. Next time when u make Bhathura , dough need rest for half an hour then it ll more fluffy and when u kneed a dough add oil and cover with damp cloth for half n hour..
@@TanishqueMishra - Africa is the motherland of humans, who created a lot of things, first, including recipes. I was born and partly brought up in the Caribbeans/West Indies and I have seen my mother cook fish, either way, depending on what she was in the mood for when it comes to fish.

I love African culture. For I'm an African descendent. But I don't know how you guys don't cleanse fish with limes . For it is so smell. Where from,we let fish marinate in lime for 30inutes before rising to cook it.
I'm from Tamil Nadu,India.. You have prepared this food very well. I can see your village life & cooking is more similar like ours( Tamils village lifestyle).
