I love cocoyam leaves! Especially when they are wrapped around pork and fish and baked in the ground oven Hawaiian style! Mm mm the pork fat cooks into the leaves and makes them juicy! Then I splash chili water all over and swallow them down! And plantains I will eat any way you give them to me!do you guys eat them with coconut cream in Ghana? My husband is Sāmoan and I make them with coconut cream and onions for him and they are so sweet and good! But fried African or Carribean style is one of my favorites!

@@TatianaHaina oh it is! You must try it you can even prepare these by just cooking them in a pressure cooker or oven! They're so yummy! West African food Polynesian food and Asian food I cannot live without o!

I love the village harvesting and cooking on fire wood. Awesome. Cooking out side the home nostalgic. It bring back memories of my childhood in kerala India. Their casava dishes, raw banana, river fish, raggi mudde and dishes with ciconut milk all name a few. Wish you all the best.

The only thing about village life, SEEMS to be that much time is spent gathering and preparing meals, IF, there isn't refrigeration/ electricity and/or plumbing /VERIFIABLY potable water that's easy to access.
