Unfortunately warthogs have a very thick skinned large neck making it difficult for predators to kill them via suffocation. Unless a vital organ such as the heart, lungs, brain are consumed first, an animal can take several minutes to die
@@Micah5874: There is no wrong or evil with the way animals live in the wild. It's a matter of suvival & continuation of the species all along the food chain.
@Tashawn Sheffield Yep. In lion prides all Cubs are the offsprings of the ruling adult males. The only adult males in that pride were Mufasa and Scar. So Nala is either Scar's daughter, or Mufasa's.
Lol, it's a myth that lions suffocate all time or have mercy on killing their prey... They do suffocate, but as all the other predators of the Savannah they don't care much if the prey is alive or dead. There are many videos online of lions where one of them suffocates or holds the prey and the rest just begin eating disregarding if its alive or not.
Wild dogs usually eat their prey alive because they don't have a quick kill ability...if the prey does not die quick from shock, they do not have had size or strength to crush a skull or suffocate like a lion or leopard...Hyena are sort of in the same boat, although they can crush small skulls and bones
Imagine getting each bone broken as they rip n' tug at your body. You don't die for a while. I mean, some people can live without their lower half for hours (from being mortared) and the dogs start dining on the lower half.
I was once surrounded by a pack of dogs (was at a wrong place at a wrong time). It just sends chill down my spine on how bad that encounter could have ended up for me and how lucky i was to come out of that without any serious injuries.. I didnt run when they followed me and faced them standing my ground. I had a bag in my hand seeing which they were hesitant to come near. Still as soon as i turned to leave one of them bit my leg but luckily my trouser took most of the damage and it landed a long cut on my skin. I immediately turned back facing them and slowly moved back facing them all the way. Once i cleared their territory they disengaged. I was so high on adrenaline i didnt know i was bit till much later when i felt something wet on my trouser which was blood. Once i calmed down the pain came in full force. It was a traumatic incident especially because i cant stop thinking, if the dogs had decided to really attack me that day i couldnt have done much and any help would not have reached me on time..
Karthik Mahesh ah how many while it really depends on the people and kind of dogs I suppose humans get fairly scared of animals even if we can easily take it wild dogs if your referring to em not too sure though I think you can scare them off as long as you can hit one or two in the head or startle and run at them
Even though the dogs have an impressive successful hunting rate, they are still very vulnerable to bigger predators like lions and leopards. They don't have the time to kill their prey by biting it's neck because other predators will come and steal their food so they work quickly by just ripping their prey apart, eating what they can, and running away.
Hi Ronnie and El, remember me from our 2019 trip with Ed Selfe? I hope you are both well and I hope to see you again in Zambia when all this drama is over.
mcnemo65\\\\\ notice one thing its mostly wanna be macho's with the smaller dick syndrome , you see this shit in sports etc... men afraid of everything so they show a facade of fake strength , deep down they are weaklings in disguise..much evolving and maturing to do in their future .haha
The video was edited. If this is the same video I saw before, they violently ripped away at the warthog while it screeched bloody murder for quite a while before it died. The editor was merciful to the squeemish viewers
The park ranger attended to the warthog afterwards, after first aid and a few plasters it made a full recovery it will attend outpatients in six months to see how its doing.
I like how the wild dogs, take down the wart hog, and starts eating while it;s still alive, ea would eat a few bites, and then back away to stand look out for lions or hyenas and then go and eat some more and then another would back off the carcass and act as look out, this is great team work
in my opinion wild dogs are the most ferocious animals ;because it eats its prey while it is still alive unlike other predators which kill first then eats!!!!.
Sad to see bt fact is altho vwry uncomfortable for the warthog, the blood loss and shock there would be much numbness aswell, little comfort for the warthog sure, bt some comfort for us knowing theres much pain free shock numbness involved, yes be pain here and there bt just saying lots blood loss ansmd trauma to the body would make it numb aswell also from the physical experience, bt glad to see the warthog die just sorry it wasn't sooner, still can't imagine what this warthog went through, we WOULD NOT want to know...R.I.P. Brave Warthog :(
Marty ES Yes, he escapes. However, he ended up running into a rough 'hood and was shot and killed for not throwing up the proper gang signs. He will be missed...you dumb fuck.
You know what ruins a video that could have been worth enough to pay for that vacation? A conversation that goes right over the entire video. Ruining all the sound.
