I mean if an Indian or Asian descent person grew up in the US he’d sound just like whatever region he’s from. If he’s from the south, he’ll talk southern. Midwest, he’ll talk midwestern. Californian, the same. Etc. Really the blacks of the inner city and the rural Deep South talk how they do, and they’re about it. It’s just another evolved derivative of the old southern accent of the 19th century. But it a black person grows up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa or something, he’ll sound like a typical Midwestern American too.
