Africans and Black Caribbeans are Jealous of Mixed Race People and Here is why 🫢 

As a mixed-race Caribbean I was a hesitant to watch this video because of the title but I can admit you are spot on. I will say that I believe being a mixed-race Caribbean in our respective country is different from being a mixed-race Caribbean in the U.S., as the Caribbean recognizes those of us who are mixed with Asian or other races and don't force us to check the "black" box like in the U.S. This goes back to the fact that the U.S. had the racist "one drop rule" whereas the Caribbean and Latin America did not.

My mother is light skinned my dad is not We're Caribbean and everyone was mad when none of their kids turned out dark skin and even more upset cause i'm lighter then my mom with type 3 hair...but they fetishize me at the same time it's weird

I cannot understand their logic sometimes. They will pin mixed people against each other by saying “oh you have a mixed parent and a black parent you’re not biracial you’re black…” and tell a biracial person that they are not black when neither have the mono racial experience. Who do these people think raises these kids when their parents go on vacation?? Their GRANDPARENTS! So how is a person who is raised by their Indian grandmother or white grandmother not mixed…and don’t get me started on the stupid percentages that they like to guess by your parentage…

The Caribbean and Latin America never had a 1 drop rule, we have different categories for Mixed race peoples depending on the country. In Belieze its Creole and Latin America and some Anglophone islands its Mulato, Brown, Pardo. Trinidad and Guyana for Black and S. Asian its Dougla. In Jamaica Black and Chinese is Brown or still Chinse or Chinese Royal used by mostly older people .

My grandma is milti-racial. She has red hair, olive complexion. I’ve noticed on othe other side of the family when she passed became envying us, I don’t understood why, we treat people with love and respect. But the jealousy is too much

This is very realistic and I'm glad that finnaly someone spoken on this! Now I have more understanding on the perspectives and now at least I can see other perspectives as well and nowadays I understand more why a lot of African blacks acts weird who grew up in Africa. I am quarter black and 70% European and I am very proud of that! Normally the people think I am North African or maybe I'm from some Latin culture cause that's how normally the people views me, especially in US a lot of people thought I am Puerto Rican but I am just quarter black. I see very often African blacks showing a very jealous energy towards me cause of the way I am and the way I talk but I am just being me and I'd never change that, I let em hate one me if they want. I know African Americans too and I'd never felt honestly no hating energy or jealousy by them towards me especially if they could resonate with me I think it depends on a lot of things like how you talk to that person. I think it also depends on what kinda black the person is how he/she grew up and their parents are plays a lot of factors. I live in UK and yes the black cultures are different in here too and the perspective here on being black is different too, here is more African, Caribbean cultures. But as being said I think someone will show jealous energy and someone won't. My unique personal opinion that the mixed race people are never going to be like the typical white and deep inside they always want to embrace the blackness and I think is not a bad thing. But overall is a blessing to be a mixed race and it is a great video.

They are so exhausting to deal with. I think it's probably jealousy, self hate, an inferiority complex. We tend to look better, and we have a different experience than they do, and they hate that but that's not our fault! 🤷🏽‍♀️

Both of my parents are black and my experience and viewpoint as a black American is different from what you are stating. My grandfather was a light skinned man with gray colored eyes while my grandmother was a dark skinned woman with delicate facial features. As a result, many of my family has a variety of different complexions and features. I've always seen beauty in all groups whether they are black, white, mixed, Asian, Latino, Middle Eastern, South Asian or Pacific Islander. Worth mentioning, I've never been jealous of mixed raced people in any way. However, I've had experiences where they were jealous of me. I once worked in a warehouse and I became acquainted with a mixed black and white guy. I would greet him and compliment him on his his shoes or different clothes. However, one day he randomly asked a Mexican girl in Spanish if she thought I was ugly or handsome. She replied that she thought I was handsome. He then proceeded to ask who she thought looked better. She replied that he looked better. I understood some Spanish and confronted him. He jokingly said: "Are you big mad?" Then on other occasions he would take jabs at me. I didn't understand why he acted this way towards me and not the 50+other guys in the warehouse, especially when I was kind, respectful and complimented him. I came to the conclusion that he was either jealous of me, secretly had a crush on me or both. Also, I remember when my niece was in high school, she came home with a complaint about a mixed girl. My niece is a beautiful girl with large almond shaped eyes and smooth mahogany colored skin. However, one day she decided to dye her hair red. Days later, she went to school and a mixed raced girl told her she was too dark to wear red colored hair. This hurt bothered my niece and greatly upset me. So yeah your message can go both ways actually. Blacks can be jealous of mixed people and so can white people. In addition, mixed people can be jealous of black and white people.

And I wanted to say that everything this person is saying is true Africans,Caribbean’s “,and African Americans that have no mixer are so damn jealous of light skinned mixed people!! My mother and father is mixed which makes me mixed!! But I’m a quarter of Italian and a quarter of Brazilian and Native American!! But I can say this!! From I know to be true since I was a little girl I have always been picked on and singled out and mistreated by black women!! I’ve gotten beat up at the age of 5 years old by a little black girl I befriended that lived in my building for my doll because she wanted it I told her she could play with it but had to give me my doll back and she beat me up and pulled out my hair! My mother cried with me!! And I was only five, my mother approached her mother and then had to call my aunts cause the girls mother then was talking about jumping my mother!! Then prior to that when we first moved to the block another black little girl told me she was gonna beat me up! Turns out her cousin became my sisters friend and they ended up coming to my house and when she found out that I was her sister she backed off!! But I told my sister, she is the one that said she was gonna beat me up! I hated that girl after that! Fast forward in the 4th grade I had another black girl tell me she would beat me up just because I was light skinned and always dressed nice!! I played hookie from school my sister and my oldest cousin found me playing hookie cause they were playing hookie too and my cousin knew someone was fucking with me and went to school the next day and approached her told her if she ever talk to me that she would come back and beat her ass!! Further more I’m a singer and in my old church I would sing lead! my own step cousin had a black girl from school try to fight me because she was jealous of my voice the girl ended up telling me my own step cousin put her up to it!! Then fast forward I’ve e had black girls fight me because their boyfriends liked me!! My mother even told me stories about a black girl that tortured her and told my mother she was gonna beat my mother up! My mother was so afraid for her life that when the girl approached her my mother picked up a brick and beat the living shit out of that girl and put her in a comma!! Because my mothe r was a Italian Cherokee!! Black women are mad that the majority of them are butt ugly!! They are not desirable and they hate on mixed people because they are!! All this non sense of I’m black and I’m proud is bullshit!! Because if you were proud to be who you are you would have no reason to belittle another person or hurt another person!! My thoughts is that I have had black girlfriends too but they were always very pretty! Pretty gravitates toward pretty!! African American here I do have Native American ancestry so my hair is thin and straight for most part and my skin is a reddish brown my sister are Puerto Rican and black and guess what they can’t stand me I get complements on my skin complexion and how my body looks and I’m not saying they are jealous but it kinda seem that way one of my own sisters told another sis of mine she don’t like me for no reason tho that’s crazy smh but idk about this I love my mixed sisters they are beautiful but I don’t think they care much for me smh i don’t know 🤷‍♀️
