With all due respect Rashid Bhai, Waqar should have played in 99 World Cup ahead of Azhar Mahmood but Wasim wanted to settle the 94 revolt and hence Waqar sat out. Now some will comment that Azhar was an all rounder, 117 runs in 9 WC games with one innings of 37 against WI doesn’t make one a game changing all rounder rather bits and pieces player. Waqar showed 2 years later in England natwest series that form is temporary but class is permanent.

Steve Waugh was a great batsman. He did not average51 in tests for nothing. For God Sake! You get carried away with flair. Going by this Bradman too was ugly to watch by a lot of accounts. Inzi the bhot bara batsman averaged 31 and 32 against Aus and SA respectively. These 2 were the best attacks of his era.
