I had a request if I could explain some of the rhythms that Mongo Santamaria played in Afro Blue. He created some beautiful patterns and variations.
I will show you some rhythms that he developed from Rumba de Columbia de Matanzas. I hope you like it!
And next week I will post the Play Along videos for this rhythm on my Patreon channel.

I have 4 congas, bongos and other stuff.. I'm sure the voodoo spirits were in the studio when they recorded the Mazacote a track I've relished "jamming" to for 50 years now ;-))))))
