@@purpleplant9515 Thanks! As a bassist, my focus is on grooves in ány style. And the dancers here show, they really feel and understand the grooves, connecting them to their bodies, and being very creative with it. That is a real relief to me, because so many musicians are in fact bad at grooving. Many can learn a LOT from this. A tip: Do you like African rhythms? RU-vid for Bwazan (Bassidi Kone), or Petit Adama, really good percussionists from Mali. Listen very very carefully to all their rhythmic jokes. One of the best sources for good grooves. They combine traditions and hard discipline with simple human freedom. And have a LOT of fun, while doing so..

It's true. When I was in Ivory Coast, the "clubs" are open and the music comes on the street. People randomly dancing to it. Also when artists release songs, there's always a dance that comes with it. Everyone learns it and dances to it.
