Afro Samurai was the shit when it first aired in the late 2000's! too bad nowadays people kind of forgot about it and it doesn't get as much recognition
afro samurai was fucking lit. i was way too young to watch this wen I did but I remember even then I thought it was lit. i used to replay the episode where he has sex again and again😂
A man with no friends only live for revenge in this life we give cut me back to the force of a cyclone I could back to this for you Rome to do swayze home .
I loved this series/movie the character Afro was never referred to as black or African. He was a man not limited by labels or stereotypes. We saw him as a child being raised by a strong father then traumatized and wanting revenge when he was taken from him…Let me stop I’m about to get emotional 😅
look super old comment but from what i remember afro had a absentee father because his dads quest for power ended up consuming him and causing him to abandon his son to a life just the same as his with barely any generational improvement. "we are born men to live not to kill"
The legendary number one headband It's promise is power, omnipotence Immortality, but at what cost? One that is greater than any man can imagine And heavier than any man can bare No soul who has ever wore it's tattered grace Has ever escaped the torment of it's infinite burden Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
My fav song is definitely combat, just so epic! "Brain stained with the harbor, sword stained with the blood of martyrs Revenge is a never ending story, Afro's the author Trying to bother, the bare site of my father So I'm living today, like there's tomorrow Sword, inside my sheet, my heart is filled with beef For all the dead souls, that I chopped into piece Return, of the Afro sheen, fatal mean guillotine Sword in my hand, I want the number one headband".
This show got potential, just needs a little more polishing aside from the senseless kills and death. I for one, would like to see more back story on the headband. Plus there was a hint that there was more than 2 headbands, etc head band no.2
First anime that really got me into Anime.. Holds a special place in my heart. Still looking for something next ! Anyone able to suggest anything as good or more than this? 😍
Afro samurai was probably one of the best shows of it time and still one of the greatest today and it really needs season 2...just post on any social media with Samuel L Jackson tag him mention this show and hope for the best
A man with no friends, only live for revenge, live is life off the hedge/henge, *i dont really know* cut, through a thousand men, blade swing with the force of a cyclone, cut crystal and bone, crystal and chrome, ????? cut the whole world in half for the number one headband, a lonely soul, on a lonely road, *music outro*
Afro is one protagonist that no normal, caring person can actually get behind. At the end of the day, all those deaths are on his hands, and it's all his fault.
In the movie, there is a song when Afro fights against the owner of the number one bandeau (Shishigoro). I don't find this song anywhere in your tracks )=( Here's that link to help you com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=iV-Y-dHvIw4#t=2759s
