Ja da gibt es schon einiges zu tun aber vieles ist extra so gemacht, dass es möglichst einfach zu reinigen und zu betreiben ist, z.B. zum Wasserwechsel muss ich nur ein paar Ventile bedienen und Salz reinwerfen. Die Pumpen, Abschäumer usw. stehen direkt am Waschbecken mit Brause um z.B. den Topf sehr schnell ausschütten und spülen zu können, die Ecotech-Pumpen muss man recht selten reinigen usw. :)

@@seafriendlyreef i have subscribed to so many channels but so far your efforts are the best and your website also. If possible just make a new playlist for how to build reef/fish only tank from scratch. Try to cover low buget to heigh buget aquariums. Some what like tutorials. You will gain more subscribers if you share a-z knowledge (sault, send, sump, light, doser pumps, dosing liquids, way to check parameters, filter medias, fish, coral, anemone, Refugium, chiller, rock topics, fish/coral/anemone foods etc.. ) from beginners to expert. Because on most of the channels they are creating on random topics. Not in a one sequence. So you can be the first in the market. You can also create paid courses on udemy. Some people only build fish only tanks, so what types of equipment are needed on low cost. So you can cover that topic also.

What salt does Martin uses and what does he does to maintain that beautiful aquarium.

I use Fauna Marin Professional Reef Salt and other Products from them as well as ICP and I have several FM Corals too 😉 I dose Elementals and do a 500l water change every month. I use a big skimmer, a little bit ozone and activated coal 🙂

yes, there are over 90 fishes now :) PO4 is droping constantly. Because of the rocks, I started with 2mg/l and now it´s 0.09mg/l thanks to more bakteria and Lanthan :) These are grey/blue Montipora Digitata, I dose more trace elements because they are geting too bright ...

@@Enemy64 Ja , bin auch froh - es braucht halt wirklich seine Zeit bis sich alles einspielt und Lanthan ist echt eine tolle Möglichkeit PO4 zu senken, allerdings so wirksam, dass man sehr aufpassen muss nicht zu schnell zu senken und nichts ins Becken zu bringen, weil Doktorfische angeblich sehr empfindlich mit verklebten Kiemen reagieren sollen, was mir aber zum Glück nicht aufgefallen wäre...

@@martin_s_k Thanks for your response. You mentioned fine, are you using 0-1mm or 2-5mm? I’m assuming you have pretty good flow considering you have SPS. Do you ever run into sand storms from having too much flow?

How long do you think? Is that your own experience? Until now they get along prety well and I know other reeftank owners who also have an Acanthurus sohal and lineatus together...
