Oga, you just told us that you got 600 g in almost 4 months from fingerlings(technically). But you kept emphasizing on a particular fish that weighs 1.2 kg. Why??!!
I am saying this so that the message you post out will be clear and unambiguous especially for the new farmers. Many have fallen victim to people that keep sending out wrong messages like getting 1.5 kg of catfish in 3 and half or 4 months, and have led many to their early grave and very high BP. I have discovered that most livestock farmers on youtube show people their biggest and healthiest livestock without telling people about mortality, uneven sizes, etc. Haba!! it is quite misleading. Please lay more emphasis on average performance than your best fishes because as a farmer, you will have to sell 99.9% of your stock to succeed. A good farmer always has special attention on the smallest or weakest of their stock and if it is not yielding anything reasonable, you sell immediately or you feed on it. This is business and everybody is chasing profit.
@@chuckFidario from the video above ..the practice start from a month I hope u follow up from episode 1 to understand. And in the video is did the average weight and I specify that fish is the biggest of all .....moreover is your sorting is been done accurately and you stock uniformly the diff of the sizes will not be ambiguous.. The practice is just about showing how soacing help fish to do better Your message are acknowledged 👍
