I was surprised to hear that your wife is so fluent in Tagalog coz' everytime the 2 of you are having conversations her British accent are so VERY GOOD that I thought that she doesn't even know how to speak TAGALOG or like some Filipinos living or has been Abroad for more than a year only but when you speak to them, as if they have forgotten to speak their own language. But the way your wife speaks TAGALOG there is no trace that she has already forgotten our Language. So proud of your wife.

Hey Tom: Did you know that someone from Holland or more appropriately the Netherlands are called Dutch. You from the UK should know that…but I got your joke…lol But that’s really amazing that Kim really knows her Tagalog words and knows how to communicate using it. I grew up in the USA and people are always amazed that I can understand and communicate in Tagalog but can also understand the dialect (the province) where my parents are from. Most kids nowadays shy away from learning Tagalog and its really a shame that they not only lose that language but the culture that goes with it.
