I can assure all 5 boys we just as excited as my husband and I. None of them want for much and most of their friends comment about how lucky they are. We love all of our beautiful blessings equally. It was just exciting to finally be able to buy dresses

Honestly annoys me when people say stuff like that. Girls can hold their own and we should be teaching daughters to handle situations without a man "helping" or "protecting"

@@cassidyopeia2586 having alot of brother's when your a girl is actually a good thing though. You then learn how to joke around with other men later on in life, handle situations better with intolerable people, become more wiser in regards to whether a fight is worth it or not (physically I mean) and If constantly play fighting was a part of growing up then it also helps develop endurance to pain and also stamina. Although it is great to learn all of this, it's a great thing to know when you have your own crew of protective brothers at your side ❤️

Lol my daughter has five brothers who wrestle and stuff with her but she still turned out girly, loving twirly dresses and shiny stuff. I do suppose she'll get dirty, or wrestle in a "pretty" dress so you might be right. We raise our sons to be the type of man we want our daughter to marry and we raise her to, hopefully, have enough self confidence to only pick men worth being with (and to be the type of women we'd want our sons to marry as well).

When my younger brother cries, he is told by relatives, especially by my parents that he is acting like a "weird little girl." That makes him feel bad so he cries even more & they can't understand why. Also, I personally believe that a man is way more attractive when he is emotional; it's an amazing thing to see them break that societal barrier, and it's sad when they feel ashamed about it. My sis had 3 boys. My bro had the first girl in the family since me. When I asked what gift I could give he said anything but clothing. As it turned out, my niece had enough clothing to last her until she was at least 5yo. He ended up exchanging outfits with friends and neighbors up to about 5 years old.
