About This Video:
In this video, I talk about his latest transition in switching to using an order fulfillment company for his clothing brand rather than packaging orders independently. This is essentially a form of dropshipping - and in 2021 with ecommerce being as friendly as it is, this will be a huge move going forward. I want to be able to focus on the things I'm good at - like branding, marketing, social media, facebook ads, design, giveaways, etc - and having to build out the other side of my business gets in the way of that. Working with a fulfillment company will free up way more time to focus on my strengths. This video applies to clothing brands, fashion lines, tshirt brands, streetwear brands, dropshipping, print on demand (POD), and beyond!!

You asked for my thoughts. Well, I think partnering with an order fulfilment company completely takes the fun out of running a clothing brand. Why would you want to give your hard earned profits and control over to a company where you don't really get to make proper decisions about what direction to steer your company in? Rob, I have a lot of respect and admiration for you. I've watched 272 of your videos and from my point of view. I think you're making a mistake. I doubt I'll ever use an order fulfilment company. I want to do things the right way. But the machinery and do it yourself. Hope I've not offended you?

I wanted to suggest a topic if possible--I know you've mentioned getting your product into stores in previous videos. That's pretty awesome bro--congrats! I have been building a great relationship with one of my local vendors that my provide me with a similar opportunity. I'm not big time in any way, but as my brands mature, I think this can be a viable option down the line! :-)

Hey Rob, great info and VERY SMART on behalf of indestructible. I am in the final design and pre production phase of my brand and watchijg and listening to you and everyone in the group have been fantastic. I have partnered with a very large PNW brand to have some final pieces in our collection to round out styles. Give me a few years and I might be duplicating that idea of indestructibles warehouse shipment sharing method to drive down cost and bring way more income in. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for posting this video. I have been watching your videos for a long time and to be honest I love them and they are super informational. I am also in the process of starting my clothing line business, in-fact I have already registered it here in California and working on photography, videography and website. Since you are going to use fulfillment center, it would be great if you could make a video about fulfillment process, how it works and how the barcodes and SKUS work. I don’t have any inventory yet but in a few weeks I will have my products shipped from Turkey to US. Thank you

Welcome to Shopify! It sucks! You're gonna love it. 😂 Must be such a relief to have a trustworthy supplier AND a trustworthy fulfillment center. You know your product is consistently great and is being shipped out correctly. Time to explore new marketing opportunities maybe? Google ads?

Well, if you do big volume, POD companies like printfull offer your up to 20% discount on your cost, plus their shipping rates are not bad.

Would you recommend outsourcing your products to an order fulfilment company so I can focus on more of the marketing side ? I only recommend outsourcing if you have mastered your supply chain on your own first. Also, there’s no point in moving to a fulfillment company if you’re not shipping a lot of orders.

I don't like the sound of print on demand. You're just so not in control. Making a mess of the reputation of your brand. Just my opinion bro. Sorry but this doesn't convince me.
