All of their voices is important in the song I think it's because instead of competing. They all just work hard to give their best vocal in a song and it works out perfectly. They are still together for this it's amazing I miss Melvins part in their music but they are the perfect example of a group singing. They all understand they have a role and each one ayd thier perfect part on one accord thats why they are timeless everyone shines in this group. I listen to music dating back to the 1920s all the way through and have not found a group that is so cohesively together on one accord as After 7 now 8 and he's living Melvins part in his own way to. I never seen anything like it in groups they are one combined force instead of individual competing forces and it's beautiful music because of it. Others need to ask them how they do it because it's extremely rare in groups a jewel to group singing

Here it is October 2021 and I'm looking at the 760 people who gave this a thumbs down and it just confirms to me once again, society has been declining for decades...in their music choices, their attitudes toward others and their lack of good taste. Oh well....I'm not surprised. Love this group then AND now.
I just watched their unsung story I didn't know they were in their 30's when they came out in the 90s! I always loved them as a group even though I was a teen..so underrated. So happy to see them singing again sounding as good as ever.

These brutha's right here are one of the most underrated groups ever. They can sing, harmonize circles around ANY of these young cats out today. I'm old skool to the core goin back to the likes of Blue Magic, Bloodstone,The Manhattans, Temptations, Lutha (my all time favorite!) ect.... when singers could actually sing live without machines. Somewhere along the line REAL singers got faded out but DAMN am I happy to hear these brutha's again. I can listen to this here all day long. LOVE REAL MUSIC LIKE THIS !

OMG...this is the "true" definition of "REAL" r&b. So smooth and mellow, no sex, drugs or foul language. It's a shame that some of today's artist don't understand that groups like After 7, New Edition, Boys II Men and others were the ones that actually "paved" the way for them. Amazing sound. Great to see Melvin. Melvin and Kevon together make beautiful music. They are the After 7 sound. The sound that we know and love. There is no After 7 without The Roux (Melvin).
Good to see Melvin back and he sounds great , they were featured on unsung i know Melvin had a substance problem but didnt know he suffered a stroke in 2010 so it was great to see him back
One of my favorite songs from After7, but all their music always sounds good! I hope they put out more music even though Melvin is gone. Kevon got the voice to just pull you into a song..
