I injured my back similarly when I was about his age and it disabled me from driving for the rest of my life. Back injuries are no joke, I pray that he'll be okay.
I’ve had 4 lower back surgery’s and one disc replaced in my neck and still work tell retirement with 36 years and still work on our family farm so yes, who ever said they were a joke? Maybe an insurance scam, anywho there not always a permanent disability' sentence.
@@eusoudendayeah really, having a hurt or broken back you can't do jack shit! Can't eat, sleep shit, showwr, walk, fuck your spouse right. It sucks in all ways around and it feels super weird. Fuckin sux that one's that do fuck up their back by any means due to an accident I'm here for ya bud I know the feeling 😢
I suffered for 3 years, Injured my back at 28 years of age. A glazier in Midland, TX for 13 years, Then I had a blow out! Don’t wish back problems to my worse enemy, Not fun🙏🙏😎
@yangpiao849, I hadn't even read it yet just scrolled and was looking at the truck and saw the man grab his back, I thought someone shot him. Apparently the "tire" did....
I’m 26. Had my first microdiscetimy. 2 years ago. I’m able to walk without a walker now but can’t lift anything heavier than my 2.5 yr old. Worst part is I have to have the same surgery every 10 years
This is a true story. I enjoyed my back on the job. After 30 years, I was forced into retirement because of it. It took me out of commission. It's so sad cause I still have another at least 7 years before I were to retire...I really hate it
When I was in the army there was a group of new soldiers being trained on how to work on one of the big truck tires. The instructor told them to always put the tire in the safety cage before working on it, because if it blows it will kill you, but they only had one cage in the motor pool and it was being used. He was impatient and proceded to work on the tire. The tire blew and it took a second for everyone to recover, there was a sound coming from the rafters so everybody instinctively looked up and they saw something bouncing around up there. They looked back towards where the instructor was and there he lay on the floor and his head was gone. It was his head up in the ceiling. When the tire blew it took his head clean off and sent it flying straight up. One of the young soldiers got so screwed up from seeing that, that he got a medical discharge.
Have a similar story, a guy my boss knows had his face peeled off basically from a split rim that exploded and just clipped his chin, peeled his damn face up to his forehead. Dude lived.
Dumb fuck NCO was messing around with a howitzer in the armory and it send a HE shell through the rood and somewhere into the woods, all 12/12 were loaded and nobody knows anything because we weren’t even supposed to be storing them there
I used to work on those trailers and the energy released from one of these blow outs is no joke.. one blew when i was standing about 30-40 feet from it, and with ear plugs in, it sounded like a shotgun going off 3 feet in front of me, and a huge vortex woosh of air the size of a mac truck hit me. The guy airing up that tire shit himself. Haha
I used to work with a guy that was airing up a tire when it blew out, he was thrown several feet across the room and had to have surgery done on his leg. Dude was very lucky to survive honestly.

Can't believe the nasty comments. My God is not a vengeful person like so many humans are. The Bible says: ' when under trial, let no man say: "I'm being tried by God." For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.'
@kevindoble5046 huh? It hit him in the back, his flip flops had nothing to do with it. Everything would have happened the same unless he was in metal armor
Oh no.. As a middle aged man that's had serious spine issues for half my life, I just really hope n pray that this man's back is alright to this day, since I truly understand what goes with living in severe, chronic pain which is one of the biggest obstacles in life to deal with.. 😞 Blessings n good health to you All my Friend's. 💙
You sound like me. I was just awakened at 2:30 with terrible back pain. I was in a car accident. Both knees need to be replaced and my left shoulder. I've been putting it off because I'm scared to have another surgery. ☹️

OUCH...If a wheel nut flew off or just a pressure air burst blow out, that would hurt LIKE HELL on his back...hope it wasnt spinal OR renal bruising though. I had a car tyre (brand new) which did this and had a bruise for 4wks ... I was 30ft away paying for the new tyre which blew. They changed all four tyres for free. Didnt ask them too, as accidents / faulty products do happen. But was nice of them. Been going there for 20yrs so they like to keep customers happy😂
I once went to a tire shop to have a tire change on my car. I sat outside on a bench in the sun to wait for my vehicle to be finished. Next to me was a big tractor tire leaning against the wall. They had patched it and I heard something sizzling sounded kind of like bacon frying from the patch. The tire blew up. It threw me and the bench onto the pavement. Luckily none of the tire hit me but the boom could be heard down the road at the restaurant I was manager of. They had taken me inside because I could not hear at all for about 30 minutes. I was so frightened thinking I had lost my hearing. I was not injured from the tire however I ended up with tinnitus, terrible shreek like ringing in my ears because of it, for the rest of my life 😭
@@jr28778 Damn!!! Very unfortunate. I can actually see the debri that hit him fall behind him on the ground. It doesn't look like much seeing it in video but can only imagine the velocity and impact it had.

I feel him on that. Worked in a tire shop and was down changing a tire in the bay when a truck pulled in next to me, ran over a socket and shot me right in about the same spot he got hit in. The socket ricochet off my back into the bed of another truck. Damn sure glad that didn't hit my spine 😬😬😬😬😬
I’m Fannie working by the tire or next to it! I had a friend who had a blow out while filling the tire on a big rig… it blew and broke his neck from the force of pressure
My uncle Ralph suffered permanent brain and neck damage from a tire exploding at the Buick dealership he had worked in back in the '60s. I'm sorry to see they still haven't solved this problem. It's not often discussed, but people are killed and maimed everyday from exploding tires.
@@bittersweetlove143 Hello Bittersweet, I want to thank you for your show of support and compassion, God bless you for that. But my uncle died in 1976; around a decade after the explosion. Although, we were all convinced they were connected. 😕
@@chriscadillac8448 of course ❤️ wow! I'm so sorry! I can't even imagine the pain he must have been in. If you don't mind me asking, how old was he when he passed away? Sorry if I'm being intrusive. But how does something like that happen? Man. This actually scares me now. 😔😕. The guy in this video was within a good distance from the truck. What do you think hit him? Was it just the force of the air? Man.. this is terrible. Again I'm truly sorry you guys had to experience such thing 😔😕 Heaven has a beautiful angel up there, protecting you and your loved ones. ❤️❤️
@@chriscadillac8448yea I’m sorry for your loss, I worked in a vw dealer for many years and never even heard of such a thing!!! Could u imagine that? And did u hear how it happened? (Like the things that led up to it, as I still work on cars now from time to time )
Years ago was surveying a piece of property and this kid was in a tree house shooting at me with a pellet rifle. There was a fence separating the two properties. Had surveyed the adjacent property and knew how to get in there so I comely packed everything up and drove around the block and walked through the woods and surprised him. He dropped the rifle and hauled ass. I still have the rifle. Nice old brass Benjamin 22 cal air rifle
He'll, for awhile flip-flops, were the only thing I could afford. The company I worked for was constantly delaying pay. And they kept asking me if I wanted to be an owner operator. 😅 Glad I dodged that bullet.
What happened to the days when truckers look like truckers, cowboy boots and all. MOVIN ON was the show to watch back in the day. World is changing and it ain't for the better😮
🙏 my daughter has been driving for about ten years. She prays before every trip. This was really unfortunate for the driver. Especially since you know he's probably been driving that Semi for several hours, his back was a bad blow. God heal him. Get well soon. 🙏 ❤ appreciate truck drivers, many people don't k ow the sacrifices they make for our livelihood. Thank you sir. Glad the camera caught that, hope you were compensated.
Literal steel from a tire blow out physically hit him in the back. It has nothing to do with him sitting behind the wheel for hours and having a back blow out. He actually physically got hit with something
He didn't mean he was actually stung, it's just a slang term in English when something hurts really suddenly and painfully you say it "stung" as another way of saying it hurt.
I would have thought it was a gun shot too? I mean seriously what actually happened is hard to believe! It's a situation where you have to see it to believe it...
I was driving my truck down to Mass Pike East in the slow lane another trucker was attempting to overtake me in the Middle Lane when he got up next to my cab he blew his right steer tire, first I soiled my shorts at the sound of the explosion while pieces of rubber and parts of his front fender were flying all around me, it even caused damage to my truck, blowouts are no joke there's a lot of pressure on those tires
Steers are no joke. I have a 20K steer axle (heavy float/oversize work), and run 425's. 115-120 psi inside a whole lot of si. I pull 'em when they're 50 to 60% worn and we'll use up the rest on a dump body. Regular alignments as well. Every steer failure I've ever seen has the truck jumping a lane or two to the blowout side, if the driver is lucky enough to have that kind of real estate. If they're only on a two lane and the shoulder is steep, it tends to be a roll over. He must have been just clearing your headlights or the highway gods were playing nice right then. Stay safe trucker.
One day on my logging job, a skidder tire blew randomly while the machine was just sitting there not running. You only run around 35psi in those tires even though they are 6 ft tall. It blew a piece of that tire that probably weighed 40 to 50 pounds so high in the air that you could hardly see it, and it landed about 15 feet from where we were sitting. It had 2 chances to kill, and it had so much force that it moved that 44,000 pound machine about 3 feet. Always respect tires and any compressed air, for that matter.
Remember that when someone says pregnancy is a choice. Who would believe it wasn't? There were no cameras or witnesses. Just your word against someone else's. Nearly impossible to prove you didn't do it on purpose.
Shop I worked at did not have cages either.. ole coot was too greedy and would not buy one. Had me out my first day in summer time in a 100 degree day out in yard with sledge breaking loose rusted trailer wheel lock rings. They would shoot up 5-8 ft in the air .. I was lucky I did not get my scalped pulled back. I busted of 17 lock rings that was what my first day was.. boss said he wanted to see if I would stay through it then be hired full time. 😮😂
First off I'm sorry for his familyand yours.. I worked as a civilian mechanic at a National Guard (OMS6) and about shit myself firt time we aired up a Deuse and Half tire with those Split Rims.. never blowed but man the pops and bangs it makes, air upto 110 psi then deflate to 90 psi.. very dangerous without a cage. Again sorry for you and his family.
I'm a retired industrial mechanic. When I first started out, I went to trade school for my diesel/cat engine degree. These trucks, especially the tires blowing out, will end you. We heard some pretty horrific stories from the instructors. He was lucky he wasn't standing closer to it when it blew.
Mi padre trabajaba en un taller de recauchajes y también se le reventó un neumático y mi padre rebotó en el techo de la planta ,no recuerda nada mas.fue un milagro salir vivo.
My papa was ADAMANT about having good quality tires on any vehicle. I know it’s a big rig and it’s very expensive but still. My cars till today, only have Michelin tires on them. All of em. Been using Michelin for 30+ years and not one had issues during their tread life. Towards the end of the life of the tires is when they started to peel and crack but that is understandable. Plus Michelins have such a smooth ride. Expensive as hell but worth every penny.
It has to be the right tire for the vehicle. I was a manager for Firestone, Western Auto and a local Tire Store. In the Eighties Michelin came out with the XA4. Ford put them on Trucks, Lincoln's and some Mercury's. It was a terrible tire for the Twin I Beam and Fords Products because of the Front End Design. You take the XA4 and put it on a Chevy and it was a great tire. The tread was to aggressive for most Ford Vehicles. There are other Manufacturers of Tires that are great. Bridgestone came out with the Bead Filler and it was a minishock around the rim. Best riding tire on the market and great tire life. I have Michelin Tires now that came original equipment on my car. You are right that you want a good tire. It is a little noisy on some road depending on what tyoe of road surface. I alao was a OTR Driver. Some companies are cheap and put retreads on the tandems. They aren't allowed on the steers. I hate retreads because they can be retreaded twice. They don't save money at all and are dangerous on the Interstates especially in the Summer. When one goes out it the newer retread has to match the other perfectly in height. A taller retread or virgin tire the taller tire takes most the weight and a retread peals like a Banana. I believe Retreads should be made illegal on the Interstates. The heat at 70 or 75 MPH is suoer hot inside the tire. I can't tell by the video but the tire that blew was a retread or a virgin that held the weight why the other tire was flat. No matter what it couldn't take the heat. When it comes to always using Michelin Tires, If it isn't broke don't fix it.
Good catch, I was thinking it possibly could have have been shrapnel from the pyramids of Egypt exploding but I just couldn’t be quite sure till you pointed it out.
Poor guy!! At first, I thought he tweaked his back from jumping at a loud sound, but it was so much worse! Wow, you know you're getting old when hurting your back is the first place your mind goes.
There's a reason why the Shuttle had a NO GO ZONE around the landing gear for a good hour after landing. Bascially a bomb where you don't know if the fuse is let.
I was just filling my bike tire at a gas station. No meter and I over filled the tire. It blew with a sharp bang that sounded like a gunshot. They came running out to see if I was alright. If I were a prankster, I could have played it up. The neighborhood at that time was very safe and shootings never happened. I had to walk my bike home a mile and a half.
