@@PhilYoumuus I just find it more solid. Think the focus band regens a % of your hp. That would cause you to get more healing. Then you have the damage, added to the damage bonuses on each time you get hit and the flat stat of the muscle band plus all of it being added do its % damage as well. I just find it more solid than relying on rng and you can stay longer in fights.
EYY THIS IS ALMOST THE EXACT BUILD I SETTLED ON!! I use buddy/scarf/scope with dragon build (unless the team is all squishies, then I go ground for defenses). I’m too used to using my ult as a saving grace on low health lol. I also go a mostly crit page with 6 white, 4 brown
I've had the most success w mb scope scarf. Focus band is amazing, but I really just prefer doubling down on the dps. Honesty chomp's not as good as some of these other mons so it feels like you HAVE to kill the guy you stick onto. And late game I actually still notice scarf, it's less of an ats boost and more getting you faster to max ats, where chomper shreds
I kinda find drain crown>focus band because focus band sure gives you defense and heals when low, but I feel like drain crown healing helps me a lot more. That might be because I mostly run duo and trio q
