Gemma is my auntie and the boy is my cousin! I know he was very upset about what has happened to his mum but there getting through it together! Although she still hasn’t been able to get a leg because of the infection, she is taking more operations and could soon be able to have one. It’s very complicated but there both being really brave throughout!
Alana Trotter I am so glad to hear that. Please keep everyone updated on her as we are all obviously watching this Because we wanted to know how she could change her life for herself. Thank you so much
Daniella Hunt Unfortunately she still hasn’t been able to get a leg due to an infection. She has and still is having many operations on her leg in different countries to try and eventually be able to walk again. She uses crutches still and will refuse to use a wheelchair as she still wants to remain active and get exercise for her health and well-being. She is determined to be able to get a prosthetic leg so her life will be a lot easier and she can play with her son a lot more. It will be a very painful and difficult journey but she is getting there!
Hi I’m Gemma’s son and she is the best mom and if any one can prove any things possible it’s my mum. Thanks for watching and if she can motivate me to do anything I bet she can motivate you to. Never give up your dreams and stay strong.
That’s my auntie right there and her son is my cousin! Love them so much and I’m so proud of both of them xx Edit: Thankyou to everyone who is supporting my auntie and has left positive comments. Also Thankyou for standing up for me to those who do not believe that I am her niece. Lots of love x
Jayden's world of DIY'S Are you stupid? She was married at the time so her surename was changed to her husbands surename🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️She is divorced now and has the same surname as me, ‘trotter’ !!!
Jayden's world of DIY'S I don’t need to prove anything to a pathetic 6 year old who changes everything into a negative. She is my auntie and he is my cousin and I know that! I wouldn’t make it up because why would I wish I had a different family. Your stupid if u don’t believe.
People from Surrey are awesome definitely with you with us ! We all are a team and can do things and get through the most difficult times during our lives
What courage. I’ve been left paralysed after treatment for Covid. I have both my legs but they don’t work or support me. I’m trying to become independent but the social care isn’t there. I’m paying privately but not sustainable. I wish I had her courage. Cheers from London
Gemma is my auntie so I’m her niece. A regular prosthetic isn’t able to support her leg since her amputation was above the knee but also for other reasons. Also you still need a pin to hold it in but the leg still had an infection that prevented that from happening and holding it so that’s why.
When the camera zooms into the door that says "this time" it cuts from the original clip to the clip a year later. In the year later clip the host starts by walking from one side of the set, where she stood a year previously, to the other. Hope this helped.
Sara Astrid They keep the same dress that she wore on the ‘This year’ part and remember how her hair was, and then invite the audience back the next year and make her wear the same outfit and put her hair back and cut it so she just walks across.

Roxy King 🤦♀️ obviously the presenter is styled the same at both times of recording (a year apart). It’s clever editing to make it look as though it’s only been a few seconds when actually it’s been a year.
An Amputee woman in the street - If she'd like "good looking" never don't wear short dress. Wear prosthesis but hide it always under long pants. An Amputee. woman with crutches & visible stump is terrible! At home :that's other...
Why should we hide our differences as we are all unique and we should respect each other so for your information she is my mum and she doesn’t need to hide anything so pls stop giving us useless advice
