After a random kiss, the fun-loving girl sets out to win the heart of the smartest kid in school.
At a high school entrance ceremony, high school student Xiang-Qin, who isn't that smart, notices pretty boy Jiang Zhi-Shu with an IQ of 200. She falls in love with him immediately but initially doesn't express her feelings to him until Jiang Zhi-Shu said "I don't like dumb women". One day, Xiang-Qin's house is severely damaged by an earthquake. She and her father moved in to her father's college buddy, Uncle Ah Li which surprisingly that is Jiang Zhi-Shu's parents. Will the closed distance give her a second chance to win Zhi-Shu's heart? Or, will her love for him end under his cold words? What happens when there is competition for his heart?

This is a Taiwanese adaptation to the storyline of Mischievous kiss: Love In Tokyo (Japanese version) and Playful Kiss (Korean version). It took me a minute to realize but I knew it was becuz I remember the love interest always says “I hate stupid girls”

stories with couple struggling about their own challenges instead of having other characters messing up the couples are quite refreshing in an age where most plots about romance revolves around infedility, parents controlling their kid's life and such.

it started in manga named itazura na kiss, then a japanese series in 1997. Then an anime was created, followed by a taiwanese version Its started with a kiss and its season 2 they kiss again. Then a Japanese drama Mischievous kiss season 1 and 2 and a drama playful kiss. There are thailand version "kiss me" and Indonesian version . A Japanese movie was created and now this is the Chinese version. (there are a lot of version of this but my favorites are its started with a kiss and mischievous kiss). The author of the manga died I think between when the girl is studying to be a nurse and her husband continued the story (which is in anime)

Yes, it’s based on a manga called, “Itazura na Kiss” the manga was never really finished as the author suddenly die. However, the husband of the author “finished” the storyline in the anime version as he knew how his wife wanted the story to end.

i am telling u there is alot. The anime called itazura Na kiss The first ever japanese series called Itazura Na Kiss made in 1996. There was also the taiwan version in 2005 called it started with a kiss. And then there was moreeeee. Like playful kiss from korea. another japanese version from 2015 called mischevious kiss. This chinese movie and now there is also the thailand version. I dont remember if there was anymore.

Ive read the manga and watch this in japanese, korean, chinese becuase I am a huge shoujo fan and I spent basically everyday watching this kind of movies BUT I can never like the male character no matter how much I try, he is soooo rude and the female character is so dumb without pride 😭😭😭😭
