Thank you so much for posting this video. I too have been facing the same problem of limited guidance as i intend to pursue a research careeer. i have a small question, wouldn't it be better for us to pursue a master's degree first and then go for a phd program abroad?

If you planning to settle abroad you can try directly there as well. It is a personal choice.

Is it possible for someone with BDS to pursue directly PHD abroad?

Yes, certain universities provide it in various countries. You will have to decide which country first and then select universities which provide it. But remember most such PHD programs are research based and non-clinical. If you are looking at clinical options then there is masters degree which comes first.
