DOS SHELL
Relive the good ol' days of computing.
Who needs a graphical interface anyways?
"Color" selects the color of the screen text.
"Speed" determines how fast commands are typed.
Original concept by Ed Hall.
Windows version by Bob Bickford; Mac version by Jonathan Dorfman.

I have this in my After Dark screensaver box on a floppy up in my attic. :) I was always fond of this one. The programmer is going through the motions and eventually you hear "Ooops."

I grew up with MS-DOS and I had no idea how to understand nor type it out. I sure miss those days though ((T.T； )

I used to get copies of games on 10-12 disks. No instructions. And you had to navigate through dos prompt. Miss those days

Is this available as a standalone screen saver? Can the colors be configured so I can give it a different color scheme, like I want to make the background teal and the text blue

Unfortunately I don't think there is a standalone version available, at least not that I know of. The original After Dark module does allow for some color changes such as amber or green text.

They do work on modern Windows but unfortunately only the 32 bit versions. I have a 64 bit version so I can't run it under my Windows 10. I'll try it in Windows 3.1 on DOSBox and make a video on it like my BSOD Properties video
