Sadhguru just gave a brief glimpse, if he expound details on this concept, many would either not able to comprehend or will raise questions as it won't fit to their rational mind. We all have to do our sadhna if we really want to deepen our understanding about death. But regardless, sooner or later we all are going to experience it personally.

My understanding at present is , the generations that exist if they don't create a world that allows for growth and peace then if you are to return back to this life you are in a stagnation instead of being in a world that is in a state where you can choose to be what ever you want , so we could really explore other planet's but because of the many years of quick gratification and limiting success for others , greed, wars , deliberately keeping people ignorant to serve a minority is ruining everyones chances to grow and explore the universe and other life out there , basically we are in a heaven but it can also be hell , its what we choose to make it , also those that never learn to change their ways will eventually get deleted from existence
