no, the tracker in cs6 is ment mainly for simple shots that need to be done fast. it wasnt made to compete with camera tracker or syntheyes as it isnt nearly as refineable.
changing the scale wont effect the camera move it just makes it easier to work within c4d because of the size that c4d models default to. in other words, all of the proportions are kept when scaling so there is no change in camera perspective
I'd give you a cake right now, but I don't have one so......yeah. Awesome tutorial, just got the camera shake preset you set up and I appreciate the help. After 3 yrs of AE, some good fast solution. Thanks.
Hey so I know you probably can't answer this question based on this post but I'll give it a try. I am trying to put a explosion into a moving shot. First I 3d track the clip then elect my points and then select create a null. I then try and parent my explosion to the null but nothing happens. I am at a lost and am incredibly frustrated and have not been able to find an explanation.
Hey! I tried getting the footage again but no luck.I used the sam mailadress as when I got the fruit ninja. Can you perhaps check it again? Thanks so much for great tutorials!
If I make objects like 3D text in the exported c4d file, can I re-import it into After Effects so I don't need Elements or any other 3D plugin for 3D text in After Effects (or any other thing anyways like a cube from C4D)??
I did. I got the fruit one (fruitninja) but not this one. Weird. I want to try out the motiontracking. I cannot get the 3d object to stay in one place. The nulls seem to stick but not the object. Any ideas on why? Maybe this isn´t the right forum for questions such as this?
So why does the scale need to be adjusted in cinema 4d? And how do you know that the scale needs to be adjusted to 1/10th the size that it was imported at? Are you just guessing? If just guessing, surely once you export the 3d elements from Cinema 4d the correct camera move will be lost.
When I export my camera solve into Cinema 4D everything shows up fine however the grid in Cinema 4D doesn't match the angle of the shadow catcher and the rest of the scene so when I try and place objects they don't look like they are on the floor. Is there a way to fix the grid to make it match the rest of the scene?
A camera match solution so good and you only have the option to export to cinema 4d and that's it ? I would like to use it but I am 3ds max user, other users have Houdini, maya or Softimage or Modo, you name it.Then After Effects became a plugin for Maxon only ?I have version cs 6 and even have a compact cinema 4d, but it is useless , I use clarisse and 3ds Max 2014.
Hey guys have you ever thought about possibly having interns help out? I'm a aspiring Director/Writer currently 19 just looking to work and learn from talented people like yourself. I did interning for BlackBoxTv a little a few months ago.
