This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I have a HUGE presentation I'm working on for my company that's due in just over a month from now and this just made my day! THANK YOU!!!
I agree Mikey is great because he does NOT chit chat. He gets to the point and he is not trying to be funny or stupid and no dumb music in the background. Just his voice. I respect that.
Ok this tutorial was uploaded about three years ago and it is still a masterpiece.Mickey can you make more tutorials? PLEASE,PLEASE.PLEASE!! Thanks man I like your work
aaaawh i found you out of nowhere and the first thing i hear is "premium beat" following by a 90 bpm track! i subscribed you already! 90 bpm is a thing i dont really see especially in guys like you! not doubting the marketings in a great place neither! you're doing well for yourself! :D ps: the audio development on that is crazy good you should focus on a big audio, visual project some time! :D
This room is in Cambodia. Its called Tuol Sleng and its a torture/extermination centre where only a handful of people survived. Its now a genocide museum.
hello sir...i have cc 2017 and when started element 3d on my mac then i got a massage " crash occurred while invoking after effects plug-in "Element.". please help sir. thank you
Brilliant video and awesome .Is there a way then to make an old tatty room look clean and tidy? This would interesting for demonstrating what a room could look like.
I 'm using CS5 right now. When I change the composition to 1440x1080 at AE, the environment is compressed. The room was very deep. Now it is very shallow. How do I fix that?
Just a heads up for people since i had problems. if you camera rotates around something that is completely out of the scene, adjust the point of interest in the camera options, which is basically the cameras rotation point.
I am about to film a movie, and one of the locations I have is ideal as far as the look, but it's not big enough. I'm familiar with doing crowd replication with people via green screen. Is it possible to make the inside of the room I'm filming in look larger? It's a church, but I want to make it look like the church is bigger with more seats
Thanks for the tutorial, very useful - I'm trying to build a 3D room using video footage to cover each wall inside the space, and using still images to wrap the outside of the room. It's essentially a rectangular cube with an open front. What terms should I search to find a tutorial that might help with this? Or do you have any tips?
Is there anyway to do this with a time lapse? Currently working on a time lapse of a warehouse being built into offices, it has solid vanishing point areas and the camera dosent move at all during the 3 months. since it is all 2d pictures, can you somehow make that into 3d room?
Thank you for your tutorial and help, I really appreciate it. I used this concept in my Xmas animation... Question; Have you ever done a circular room or carousel? Something I'm working on I'd love to do this, but I think I might need to change the room to hexagonal instead.
Hi Mikey, i want to create a room from a jpeg that green screened actors can be placed in...how do i cast shadows from the actors movements onto the floor? Loving your tuts
what if there's an object over two of the planes? for example a chair is on the ground but lies infront of the right wall. How do you make it so the chair's perspective/lighting is correct when using point lights and such?
Hey, great video, but when I import the vpe file, ot only creates a folder with the 5 walls (png) no composition or camera What am I doing wrong? Please help. Thank you.
This what 3D creators call "camera mapping". Sir, I'd like to know how you could create an interior room in 2D that could be panned covering three walls. Any thoughts?
Hi there - I am trying to find how to add 3d models into a photo of an empty room. It's all the rage in the real estate industry right now where virtual furniture is used to decorate empty rooms for people to visualise what an empty house could look like....I've been at it for over a week and I just can't find any information about a technique...can you help? Thanks in advance....
Hey Mikey, i took a pix of my living room and did exactly the same with yr tutorial but all the furnitures are distorted. the movement looks so dam cool but the details are not there. Please tell me why? btw. my pix is 200dpi, size is 11.3M
What if there is not just one vanishing point? After effects doesn´t let me import more than one camera. And neither if the scene has diferent walls crossing the room . It seems that it just work with a simple room with a linear perspective, Am I wrong?
Is there a way to create a 3D scene which you can move around in? I'm trying to create a trench to put into a footage scene but it needs to cover two view points front and side or do i need to do it as two separate ones?
