If its a red X on the screen, it means you have the plugin installed, but it is not either 1. the real version or a pirated copy of the plugin, or 2. not activated, installed but not activated on that current computer. if you want to remove it you need to activate the plugin through the Maxon App launcher.
It's an advanced effect. I'd suggest watching a tutorial that goes step by step with actual talking. Even I (pretty much an expert) had to really think about why they were doing what they were doing to do the effect on my own
