This QUICK TIP After Effects Tutorial demonstrates a simple way to create HUD - Heads Up Display (Iron Man) - and general Science Fiction style interface elements and targets with just a few shape layers and basic animation techniques.

@FILMSync - if you want to add colour, just change the colour property of each stroke. Alternatively, you can do the VC Colour Vibrance plugin from Video Copilot and throw that over the top.

Hi, i wanted to know if we could use your tuto with hexagones, i tried it but the render is not as cool as i wished... I have to do an interface using this shape, using HUD to make it futuristic.. I'll just redesign the interface to include circles and make it work, thanks for this tuto by the way ;)
