I honestly think its a good thing that players (mainly speedrunners) have a hard time not using the closet/bed to avoid rush/ambush. I think that lspash made it purposly do it so hat players actually need to avoid rush/ambush as intended!
i tell you from experiance, its not that easy because now when you use a hack, it teleports you back so you cuant speedhack, and if you use a glitch to where it doesnt tp you back, it considers you dead so you dont get the back, so no matter what you must do lgit
idk if you know how rush works but he uses something called raycasting basically he shoots out tiny little lines invislble to the player and if someone touches one of those he will do the die and when you thought you could hide out of sight you were actually still able to touch one of these raycasts hope that helps you understand where you can hide from rush without closet

the first time i played doors on door 10-15 it got glitched there was no key and we were searching around for the key until we realised there was no key and we didnt have lockpick so we were stuck lol
the reason why rush came on door 50 was because rush speeds until the last room the last player is on. example: rush comes on door 13 but a player is on door 15. rush will speed until door 15 because that’s where the last player is.
You dont have to hide. You just have to be out of his line of sight. If you reach a fork room you can uide behind a plant or bookshelf at the fake / boarded up door.
You don't even have to hide behind anything if you know that you're far away enough from him, you can just stand at the door across from the one where you progress and Rush will just ignore you

I got a vid idea now that the new update out do it in A-1000 with crocks up to door 60 then get skell key and 2 lockpicks then use crocs and do that!??!? Juts an idea:)
try the crocs in the Rooms they have *1000* doors plus the entrance is in door 60 that=1060 speed and if you reach door A-1000 you have +40 speed that = to *1100* speed
