Yall I was so nervous right up until being baptised, its normal! Just pray to God with thankfulness for this opportunity. When you come up out of that water you are going to feel brand new in a way. Its going to be so awesome, you may think you, and our Lord are close. Just wait, its about to grow closer. Im so full of love its unreal now! I want to do so many things for my church that Ive always been afraid to do. I love how accepting the church was of me also. I know some of us may have been in the church for a while, but for me I was joining this church, and never had a home church. I was saved, but hadnt been baptised due to a lack of a church. So this was a 2 for 1 for me. Dont back out, and dont over think this! Just do it!
The truth in life is in the Orthodox christianity religion only btw. The orthodox version of Christianity is the original and true form of christianity that Jesus taught us when he came to earth, and you can feel God’s grace through the holy sacraments in this church after baptism , repentance-confession and holy communion in the orthodox christian church through the grace of the apostles that was transferred from generation to generation to what we have today as the orthodox christian priests, something that completely changes your life and turns you into a happier person with a meaningful life and also saves you by strengthening your bond with God. You can also watch the miracle of the holy fire that does not burn that happens every year, I suggest you get baptised at an orthodox christian church near you, receive the holy spirit and live a spiritual life through the church’s sacraments like confession to the priest and holy communion and God will protect you, may God Bless you!
I signed up for getting baptized but I am so anxious!! I don’t know why , I was so excited when I signed up for it but now as it grows closer I am getting scared
@@kierralauren6413 it was incredible! I had a class explaining what baptism was and the value in it , then as the baptism was happening I was overwhelmed with joy
@@shirleyduggirala1853 joyful! My church gave us the rundown of the value of baptism and we all chatted amongst each other and it really felt like a community. As the baptism was happening praise was going on in the background and I felt so much happiness! Once you get up to the water everything kind of spaces out (at least for me ) I had no thought besides being excited to get in after much reassurance from my peers and the Holy Spirit!.
Yes sis...Amen. I was baptized yesterday. I definitely need to fast from the things that I watch on TV.. this is just confirmation because I have been struggling with this..... Then I come across your page and you say it so I definitely know I'm on the right track this is what I need to do
Great study from a young lady, what your going through is sanctification and sounds like you had a Holy Spirit baptism which creates a true conversion which you don’t see often from a water baptism ❤good on your for testing your salvation as the bible commands 🙌🏼
I got baptized on Tuesday and all of the sudden I’m overwhelmed and annoyed with most family. I feel like I am losing faith a little. So I feel like evil is trying hard to get me.
You are overwhelmed with most family because God is allowing you to see their true colors especially if you don't get along with family. Baptism is a new identity. I got baptised yesterday and a woman was supposed to get baptised yesterday and she legit had a seizure in church in front of everyone where she got taken out on a stretcher. You see how the devil works? She didn't even get baptized.
When you get baptised the lord puts a spiritual mark on you. Don't tell envious people you got baptised because the spiritual battles will get stronger. I almost told a person I got baptised yesterday and God told me to watch my tongue and don't share to envious people.
When born again, God begins a new heart in us but He could not cleanse it entirely in one fell swoop. For one thing, to do otherwise would be too drastic a change: We would too soon forget what manner of person we are apart from ongoing Grace; we would be too greatly puffed up with pride and its resultant arrogance; we would fail to keep such a cleansed heart guarded against the impure motives reentering, by us failing to avoid the lust of the eyes and flesh as you give witness to in the video. So, we need to keep coming back to the foot of the Cross and feet of Jesus again and again, having God reveal the remaining impurities of our heart one by one (we are mostly cluless), and Him giving us more Grace for their removal and replacement as I more fully explain in posts/tweets. We do this 'simply' by obeying what Christ Jesus said was that "one thing needful" (Lk. 10:42), giving the Lord one or two or three or more hours a day seeking more face-to-face encounters. If and when Jesus moves our gaze from His feet up to his eyes/face.... I love you, sis. ❤
I want to invite everybody to take a look at Pastor Gino Jennings he is a real preacher that speaks directly from the Bible he is very raw direct and to-the-point which is what the world needs today
Matthew 6 came to me last year ish? My ex husband and I had aura pictures taken on our honeymoon and his was black. Peoples eyes go black sometimes when theyre malicious. Narc abuse experiencers talk about it, attempted murder survivors talk about it too. That's something i think god was showing me.
There is always opposition. The devil doesn't want God's children to make covenants with him. I'm glad that you've demonstrated a desire to follow him. Baptism must be performed by someone who has God's authority to be valid after this life though. A pastor doesn't get that authority by merely by studying the Bible. The true, RESTORED church of Jesus Christ is on the earth today. It is HIS church. It has HIS authority to do baptisms. It has HIS authority to do baptisms because HE restored it. HIS church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I hope you'll have the desire to continue on your path to follow the Savior by becoming a member of HIS restored church.
To that, I would recommend praying and spending time with Him. My pastor said something about making sure you get baptized on a “spiritual high” where you feel close to God and aren’t going through something too tiring. One of the leaders at my church ended up getting baptized twice, because she did it for the wrong reasons and wasn’t in a good place when doing so. If I were you, I would really pray and talk to leaders within your life to help walk through faith with you- because it’s nearly impossible to walk with God alone.
Water baptism isn't required anymore. John the baptist even said it. "I baptize with water but there's one who comes after me that will baptize with the holy spirit.
I'd recommend going to a trusted person/leader at church to discuss these questions. Pray about them. God isn't mad at us for having questions because we're still showing curiosity. I feel unsure at times, but its a test of faith.
Isaiah 63:3 KJV - I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. I believe that's exactly what he did in baptism. Because baptism was for the remission of sin according to Mark 1:4. However just like the scapegoat in He must be slaughtered. Leviticus 16:26 KJV - And he that let go the goat for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp. He also went straightway into the wilderness after he was baptized. Leviticus 16:10 KJV - But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness. So based on just these few readings (and I have more). Jesus received our sins in baptism, and took them to death on the tree. Deuteronomy 21:22 KJV - And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: Philippians 2:8 KJV - And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
That is beautiful goddess 😇! So deep into the knowledge! I want you to know if I do get married one day I would love it to be your hubby ❤️ in Jesus name amen 💟.
Jesus said to the man on the cross next to him "today you will be with me in paradise". (Luke Chapter 23 Verse 43). Had this man been water baptized??? Water baptism happens because someone has been saved. Water baptism doesn't save. The recent coronation happened because Charles is now the King. The coronation didn't make Charles the King. Charles became the King when his mother - Queen Elizabeth the Second - died. A coronation for William or George would be nonsense as neither of them are King.
Salvation by water Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is something that began under the New Convenant. There was no such thing as being baptized with water in the Name of Jesus Christ under the old convenant. That thief on the cross lived and died BEFORE the commencement of the period of the New Convenant and so it was simply not possible for him to receive Christian Baptism (i.e Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ) because such kind of Baptism didn't exist until the start of the New Convenant era. If you want to really prove that water Baptism isn't necessary for salvation, give me an example of someone who lived and died AFTER the start of the New Convenant and went to heaven despite refusing to be baptized with water.

Confessing to God himself in prayer will do. Jesus told us to pray in secret behind a door so basically anywhere you speak or cry out he hears. ALSO remember he’s no respecter of person. MEANING a church title or membership title means nothing to him.
@@walkbyfaith712 What you are saying is exactly the opposite of what Jesus Christ has taught. Look at history. JESUS created the orthodox church and JESUS gave the holy spirit to the apostles and sent them to spread it throughout the world. The grace is transferred from the apostles to orthodox priests over generations and this is what forgives sins (repentance and confession through the sacrament Jesus created, this is God’s greatest gift to us, do not deny it) , the grace of the priests through the grace of the holy spirit.
God does not subject Himself to man. He has given us Jesus as our High Priest. Heb. 8:1 The veil was torn, giving each and all who are in Christ Jesus direct access to the Throne of Grace. Mt. 27:51 (Matt. 18:15-20 and its condensed repeating in 16:19b, are about church discipline within one's own organization; often misinterpreted as being about something more.)
@@jtames9040what are you talking about. Jesus didn’t created the Orthodox Church. The church is not a building. The church is the body of Christ, the people. Jesus preached Holiness, that’s it. You’re caught up in your man made religion saying look at history, WE LOOKING AT RHE HOMY SCRIPTURE. Something you should try doing instead of writing total rubbish. Christianity is not in the Bible, stop believing in man made religion.
No young lady you're not walking by faith. You're walking with the Bible. Faith is when Jesus speaks to you. Faith is evidence unseen. You can see a Bible Bible Bible is not faith. That tells me you don't have no understanding and you receive your teachings from a Bible. The holy Spirit doesn't preach through you. You don't have the holy Spirit. You took the mark of the beast and you don't even know it. When you been touched by the holy Spirit. You start to learn what's the mark of the beast almost immediately.
