Its because they are bad owners. They dont play with the dog or train them properly. If the dog pees or poos at home. They get upset with the dog... and then eventually could throw them away.

I work in a rural community where people just give away or dump their dogs somewhere when they get bored with them. And they get themselves a other dog. They treat their pets like disposable objects. This makes me so mad

I don't understand how people can just abandon zip up and leave it more or less to die. This is an adorable pup I'm so glad he's got shelter now. I don't know why people don't realize it a fur baby has a heart and a brain just like we do feels the pain of loss of a family what is wrong with people. At least take the little thing to a shelter. I love the fact that he didn’t even wait until the dog was washed, but kissed its head right away. Gentle words and love has made the doggie feel better much sooner. I love to see a happy pooch so much.

My father feeds in this Canadian city the charming wild life (raccoons, or washing bears), who can come out of their hinging at night only to look for feed. And my father tell me that yesterday night a mother raccoon with 3 lovely, cute babies came up to him very close, asking for food. MY father tells these "wild" animals are like his own family, absolutely cute MIckey Mouse faces and intelligent, tame behavior. Some good prople feed them at night in their backyards, but may condo owners are so dumb and selfish they do the upmost to "get rid of wild life", and these people are dumb and shameless liars. How can our race get rid of these mean, dumb people?

My family welcomed a stray lady cat some 6 years ago. Brave (her name) has always been a part of the family. It's as if she's a daughter to us. Actually, she is. Every human being who dares to think this way (yes, dares, many make fun of us) is blessed by God.

Yes absolutely. I have a son and two fury children, two amazing maine coon cats who give me a kiss every morning when I wake up. Pets are our kids as well.

@@laurencekelly5081 I don't know what brand name to tell you, but if you go to any store with a pet section, you should be able to find some kind of tick spray. I bought some back in the '90s for a dog we had. I sprayed her down good and all the ticks just dropped off in a short time.

People have very hard hearts. I know someone who has a caring heart for dogs, that are abandoned and abused. Worries about neighbors dogs left out in the winter cold , if they have food and water. But fussed daily if his didn't respond to his every command. Loving on them one minute, and the fly swatter after them the next. Hates people in general, few or no friends. Has run off what relationships I know of. Odd.

To do this to a dog, is a mean, and wicked thing, from wicked people, who could not even be bothered to find a home for her, advertise through the Internet. I took in one such, and it does take a lot of love and care and understanding, smooth talking, and kind gestures, and gradual training to bring a dog on, and we have one fine dog, from out of a wreck

Yes, it's impossible for people with heart, isn't it? I would prefer to feel hungry, but I would never throw my cats away! There is always a way, even if you are in trouble. Then a shelter is even better, but never throw them away like trash!!

@@jenaross7807 thanks but I would not know how to go about getting the baby to the US from so far away yet alone another country. I'm sure hes found a new home by now also. I did try to reach out to them but didn't receive any response unfortunately. I've never tried to rescue a dog from another country.... I lost my service dog 2yrs ago in an unfortunate accident and she was a Shih tzu also, maybe why I took to this guy so much. She was my second service dog, my first lived 17yrs by my side and when I lost my 2nd after such a short time it was like loosing a part of myself and took me a really long time to get over it both emotionally let alone financially. Having to find the right dog and having them trained for the specific needs I have ( mine being medical alert dog) and a small dog I can handle myself was not an easy task and I was so happy I was able to do it after my first Service dog retired. But then to loose her literally 5 days after she graduated as my full fledged medical alert dog was devastating and I gave up hope and then when I saw this guy it gave me something in my heart to start to try again! Well i tried to contact these people to no avail but i didn't stop there despite not getting any responses. I have been trying to get another dog since then and have several applications out but the waiting lists are very long and training times there after are 2+ yrs. To get a dog myself and have them trained myself like i did with my second dog is expensive and have considered trying a GoFundMe type of thing but feel weird doing that. So now I'm just saving what i can and watching my local breeders for just the right puppy to get and i think i will do my best to train this dog myself with the knowledge i have from the years of working with my first two as well as getting some outside training as i can afford it. Anyway the reason I'm telling you this is i want to say thanks, because you thoughtfulness touched my heart just by you saying you wanted to help, just like the beautiful eyes of that pup touched my heart and made me feel whole again and that I can now move forward from the horrible tragedy I thought I could never get over. With all the craziness going on in this world right now I never thought that a kind a few words from a stranger could make me feel so touched. And I wanted you to know that you did that for me and I appreciated it more than anything....and you should know you did that for me......THANK YOU and God bless

I had a Yorkie for 9 1/2 years and know all to well how much it hurts when I had to put him down after the little guy developed cancer. I've never been able to get another after that. I was moved truly, by what you had to say. I knew after reading it.. this dog was gonna be the luckiest fella in the world. Sorry it didn't happen.
