After install windows with bootcamp, Could Not Locate the OS X Boot Volume for startup. Update app

long story short I installed windows 10 on a 2013 macbook pro using bootcamp
After installation it was booting to windows but I wanted it to boot into os x instead. When I went into boot camp, and tried to boot into os X, it would always return the error:
Could Not Locate the OS X Boot Volume
Solution was found here:

Update boot camp through Apple Software Update. That's it.

Hahah. One of my computers it didn’t work. I’m fine with just booting and pressing the option key to select boot drive. Have a good one

Thanks a lot man. This was exactly what I needed . Man lol doing this myself I ran into a few problems. Volume , wifi , boot camp ext ext.

Boot camp installer should include the drivers for your Mac. Albeit it’s a bit time consuming. Good luck. I didn’t know the fix for awhile so I just use the option key on boot to select the boot partition. It’s nice having access to windows or Mac. Too bad newer Macs don’t support this

I tried pressing option while restarting, and the macintosh option is nowhere to be found. I also updated my apple software, and I still can reboot back to macOS. Please help

Hi. Hopefully your keyboard has an option key. I have a Dell desktop keyboard too. On my PC keyboard. You have to press alt key Do you have an alt key on yours

Sorry.. Have you tried pressing and holding the "Option key". I'm just wondering if you can get into Mac OS at all. If the mac OS partition exists.. then in theory.. you should be able to boot using the "Option" key method. Hmmm.. let me know if you can choose the mac partition by rebooting,.. then hitting the option key and using arrow keys afterward to select your mac os partition. Good luck.
