That is some green Lush looking land. It reminds me of home a long time ago. New doesn't look so bad but Mother Nature is used to dealing with hurricanes and weather. Mother Nature always rebounds. Men and their structures don't do as well

I'm sad about the devastation Beryl caused and I hope the people will recover and rebuild. I was just thinking, look at all the ackee and bread fruit trees. There is no way a Jamaican can go hungry. We are fortunate to have everything provided by God for all our needs.

When I visited Trinidad a few years ago.my neice had an ackee tree right in front of her yard,,no clue what it was, I told her you looking at gold, but yah don know it..I plan on getting me some ackee seeds and take them to Africa to plant, me nah see none over there,where I went to go live..

In the event of a hurricane, the most thriving successful trees, the ones that grew tall over the years and produced the most fruits will be blown down. The smaller ones are lower with the least fronds to catch the wind, therefore staying in the earth. But, eventually they will grow high enough to be blown down by a hurricane. It’s the rule of nature. The message is to prune your fruit trees periodically to save them. It’s God’s design.🇯🇲🇺🇸

Even if you cut the top off . Brace up back the root in the ground . We cant afford to lose so many food trees one time . Brace back the root in the soil it will spring back please

Beryl will be remembered as the storm that uprooted trees instead of breaking limbs.Iwoke up this morning to see my most loaded orange tree on the ground uprooted and some of my banana trees.Thank God it is over and the damages are not as bad as expected.My prayers goes out to all who suffered major damages.I pray you bounce back as quick as possible.

Life is so short everything is permissible, and the reason for us to not take it for granted and treat everyone like we want to be treated, God has no boundaries and knows no color, or status.
