What happens after you pass your practical driving test? After passing driving test UK you'll need full driver insurance, road tax and MOT. These are the three things you'll need to be driving legally on the road in the UK. This video will help you to explain more what you should do and consider after you pass the test.

Thank you so much Olusegun for this great comment - this means a lot to me. Many times most of us look for happiness - what we forget is happiness is not something there to be found. It's the way we see all things. And I truly believe that everything has a positive side and it also has a negative side. It depends how we see things, so if we talk about driving, the roads are so busy with so much stress with bad drivers. If we just look at the negative side then we'll never be happy on the roads - it's our must duty to look on the positive side and keep moving forward. I passed yesterday first time with 2 minors and I have a car and I’m fully insured on it now but I’m just nervous to go out on my own looool hyped tho. The examiner was lovely, anyone reading this I’m useless and managed to pass first time lol, you’ve got this!

Thank you. Even though I passed last October. My friend is coming out tomorrow to help me build some confidence. She said everyone will make mistakes. I was told that I could drive immediately and the certificate acts as a temporary licence. Its an amazing feeling as I am an older driver

Of course I do watch your channel ! I discovered your videos last month , and I wished it I discovered it before while I was doing my lessons , it would have saved me so much money and time ! I passed last August , 4 months ago ... I passed for the 2 time as I failed the 1 driving test last March ! 1 st time in March I failed because if changing lane ...I was very disappointed as I spent so much money on the lesson ! Then I booked another test that have been cancelled 2 time 😢 because of the lockdown! No lessons no practise .... then Finally it was booked in August, again I had to be back to the lessons , spending more money ! The day of my test : I had 2 hours lessons with my instructor, during the lesson I made silly mistakes and also a stupid mistake at a roundabout that pushed my instructor to go for the brake ! I remember I said I will fail today ! When we reach the test centre : inside I was saying : I will do my best , if I pass great , but if I fail .. that’s not the end of the world 🌎 while I was waiting for the examiner , my feet were shaking .. I was nervous the first 5 mints and then I drove as I used to drive with my instructor! While I was driving , observation , Mirrors and and ... My instructor s advices were in my mind ! And I remember at about 3 Minutes before the end of the test ! That’s was that guy in the traffic light , sounding the horn at me to go ! I was about ... but then I remembered my instructor! Never move if the junction is full or the light is about to be red ! He kept sounding and sounding the horn ( even he could see the examiner ..) I’m soooo glad I didn’t go otherwise it would be a fail ! When she told me I passed ! It was an amazing feeling That I had ! I worked so hard for it , payed soooo much money on the lessons especially after the lockdown! My advice to any one who is about to have the driving test : please don’t give up , if your test has been cancelled or you have stopped the lessons .. don’t worry I have been through all of that !! You can do it ! Everything happens for a reason ! Drive as you drive with your instructor! Respect the law .. drive safely , observation, speed and you will pass ! Thank you very much sir for you Fantastic Chanel ! Well done ! Keep it up I passed by I still watching your videos .. its boosting my confidence as I’m not 100 percent confident yet ! There is always something to learn everyday !

I totally agree everything you said. Also am very punctual and always leave early and be on time 10-15 mins. Planning and timing no stress. I have passed 2 months ago and driving by myself dropping children’s to school and shopping . I got a question. I got my license now and I wanted to get a quote 4/5 days after my license starting date but I’m getting declined. How long do I have to wait for me to get a quote and get insured and I want to be a second driver aswell?? Thanks

You should be able to get it on the day you pass you driving test. If problem getting a quote online then try to call insurance companies to get quotes. Hope this helps and congratulations!

Hello can you please help me, I just pass and I need to send Sertifcat and d1 form as I need to change my address add photo what else do I need to send it ?

Hello sir Need your kind help. Got a notice from metropolitan police for over speeding. Limit 30mph recorded speed : 36mph As I am new to UK, I am very frightened about this notice. Please help me by providing further information about what to do. Thank you sir !

Firstly - if you have been speeding then you have been naughty and you shouldn't. But it's now done so worrying will not help. It's now time you solve and deal with the problem. Read the notice carefully and deal with it. If this is your first then you might have a choice of doing a course to avoid the points on your license. But like I said read the notice carefully and deal with it. Don't worry just deal with it. Hope this helps and take care!

Here I am because I never thought I will get this far in a non native country to me, now no idea how to merge, go to a motorway, park in tight spaces or reverse park, no idea about spiral parking 😂

Hi If you give your provisional licence to the examiner then you don’t need to do anything. It will come to your door within few weeks. But, if you don’t give your provisional licence to the examiner then you need to: *Sign the declaration on your driving test pass certificate and fill in the form D1 application for driving licence which you can download from DVLA forms online, or you can get them from Post Offices. @@luvk421 Don't worry, just take it to the Post Office and they will charge you a small fees to check the form for you and tell you what to do. Is this okay for you? Hope this helps and wishing you all the best!
