The Idea of Evil, I believe only feeds off the negativity of mankind and its desire for life to have a structure to follow which in the world of Berserk is known as Fate/Destiny. Overpowering Femto through traditional means as of now is close to impossible Guts has to break his mind and soul some way. As for the Idea of Evil, I don't think it can ever be killed only defied. Guts continues to struggle he was supposed to die at the eclipse as proclaimed by fate but he fights on. In a way, he's proving the Idea of Evil is wrong and mankind does indeed have a shred of power over its free will. This is how I interpret the story but each their own.

The worst part of all that is the implication that all of Griffith's regret and feeling for the Hawks, Guts and Casca, are all invested in the moon child, because the "perfect world" that the Egg Apostle hatched depended on it. When Berserk ends, it'll be Casca taking care of a retired/crippled Guts with their son Griffith, just like the vision Griffith had with the Crimson Behelit in his soup

Guts is doomed to lose everything, what i really find so hard to endure that Guts not only lost Casca again , he lost faith completely, he cant trust his sword now , everything guts wishes to keep and protect , he loses it completely, everything around him takes something from him, even his armor , which is supposed to protect him, it always wants Guts submit his will for him, and Guts will lose his own. in the meanwhile, Griffith gets everything he wants with ease, which is the extreme.
@@Zen69967 in my opinion the ending will be like this , Guts will kill Griffith in the end, but with the cost of killing his son , because Griffith is exposed in that condition , Casca will be sad and wont forgive Guts , in the end Guts lost his lover , his son , his friend , all his companions in the band. maybe he be will be frustrated so he submits to the armor and loses himself too , and he becomes like the skull night , with all this darkness , killing and madness in the story, the ending wouldn’t make sense to be calm and peaceful
@@lkib7583 I think it will end like this. Guts takes casca back from griffith, and he puts casca on the top of the ship to lure griffith. When griffith enters the ship, he'll get stuck by a booby trap and guts comes out to pound his cheeks as a punishment, but ends up liking it instead, so he gives casca back to griffith but griffith declines to because they both like pounding each other's cheeks
The amount of just straight misery and sorrow I felt reading this chapter can’t even be put into words. It’s not even something like anger or hate, just total completely abysmal faliure. Especially after reading chapter 376( the most recent one as of this moment) it makes this chapter hurt 100x more knowing everything guts has done is basicly for nought now.
That's why i all said Guts should let Casca go. She only weighs him down. She is not worth all the trouble he has been through. Guts was a rebound. The sex was just a "thank u for saving me." The moment she didn't stop or push Griffith hard enough when he pushed himself on her and she easy change her mind running away with him without telling him what happened when he asked her. Even after the eclipse, when they were with erica and ritcher, when Guts went to Casca and then her reaction. I mean, i can't believe what's her reactions towards him. Like, he didn't do anything wrong, it was Griffith who rape and did sacrifice everyone. And she's acting like he's the evil. Don't tell me she's acting that way because she is traumatized. They say that a drunk person or unconscious person do say what they really feel. Because they are not aware of what's happening and they're being honest. So Casca, it's not her right mind, but she still remains true how she reacts towards Griffith. And she's only indifferent towards Guts. Because from the start, that's how she felt about him. It never changes. She's obsessed with Griffith So dude, let Griffith have her. Griffith owned that p***y anyway. It will save your life. Stop being a hero. Not all weak or victim need saving, wheb they're willing victim. Griffith and Casca are my most hated characters in all anime I've seen. Guts got blinded with his feelings about her. Pela primeira vez, eu chorei num mangá, no animado eu não chorei, mas o mangá, eu senti a emoção dele, toda nossa história juntos e tudo foi em vão, perdemos caska pro grifitth de novo, perdemos a batalha, a nossa chance e não conseguimos nem arranha, tudo está no caminho do fundo do mar, todos irão morrer e pela primeira vez a nossa espada não pode fazer nada.

I don’t foresee Berserk having a happy ending but I think we can all agree that as long as Griffith is dead by the end of it then that’s as good as we can hope for.
Y’know; with the manga being continued by Miura’s best friend and his best team of people, and life goes on each and every day, each night I dream about a new chapter announcement, and dreams pass, in time, but with that, time heals all wounds… until the RU-vid algorithm decides to pass this edit up my way and I am reminded again why Mori and Studio Gaga have to finish Berserk.
