My father says Melanie is a bad influence he also says that Billie is a bad influence and I can see why he thinks Billie is because her songs look and sound kinda sus but both of these artists make there music say messages that give us their experience or the future of what life is like for younger viewers to hear and expect similar problems like how the singer that sang the songs experienced. I love how much more recognition Melanie is getting. I’ve been listening to her since I was 10 years old. The special thing about her is she has this way of talking about mental health issues, relationship issues, and body image in such a creative way. I’ve always admired how different she was in such a lovely, Melanie-kinda way. She’s unapologetic about how she is and I love that. I’m 17 now but I turn 18 in March🥰 It’ll be 8 year mark then but I still love her so much

This EP is so underrated. It’s honestly above the crybaby album for me. I love every song in it & I love all the messages in the songs. MM is truly a lyrical & singing genius and I honestly think she’s my favourite of all time.
For Christmas, I ask my friend for the k-12 album because I wasn't thinking about how this is my favorite album, but as all best friends do, they get you the other one which happened to be this album. I listened to it almost every day for about a month. I haven't listened to it on record in a while, so I think I will do that after school today.
