Being an angry drunk and being an alcoholic are two different things. I'm not sure where you got your. medical training but I can tell you that by definition someone who gets aggressive is not classified as an alcoholic. Alcoholism is more or less someone that can not function without. Someone that hides their alcohol. Someone that's life is unraveling. She's not an alcoholic. She just is a sloppy mess that has all those moments edited into a 50-minute show. I guarantee you if most people had months of their life and their worst moments consolidated into segments we'd all look ludicrous.

"People like to talk because they don't like to look at themselves." Geez talk about calling the kettle black, Dorinda gets super nasty when she drinks and when someone tries to bring it up she immediately starts using their downfalls against them. She did this too Luann in Cartagena.

Nathan Michael and she did it to Sonja, too. Her knees buckled when Big, bad Bethenny said she was afraid to be around her and didn't feel safe. Bethenny backed her up to the wall, and made her shut her mouth, but because Luanne and Sonja are both mild-mannered, she always calls the gang in like a pack of wolves and seems to expect them to remain silent as she lets shit fly out of her mouth...and they do keep silent, because they are entertained by it. That do-nothing Tinsley needs to go get married and leave...so vapid a human being!

Dorinda, you're a common drunk. I quit drinking, and I was a serious drinker. But I never drank as much as Dorinda. In alcoholism especially, denial runs deep.

Omg HOW can she say that she doesn’t have a problem with a straight face after that business dinner with Bethenny (the night before they went to Puerto Rico) earlier this season?? That scene was so cringeworthy, it was so clearly inappropriate for her to be drunk in that situation yet there she was slurring and making a fool of herself like she frequently does. I thought for sure that seeing that footage would be the wake up call she clearly needs, but instead she’s just deflecting and denying.

Olivia - why was it clear she shouldn't have been drunk? Bethenny and she had been drinking throughout the day, and unfortunately, Dorinda's drunkeness had her take offence when Bethenny corrected her comment about no one attended a college education in Puerto Rico during landslides,

Correct. I like Dorinda, but she is the one person on RHONY whose personality really changes and becomes mean and aggressive. Things that most would eyeroll, sigh or just shake their heads at, she can go full throttle, such as Sonja's attachment to her ex husband.

Also the comment LuAnn made -“Shes starting to turn” could have been made by anyone -drinker or non drinker. It didn’t have anything to do with being condescending now that she’s post rehab -LuAnn was merely stating a FACT that has been shown multiple times. Dorinda is just in deep denial.

Deborah Barger Dorinda is a dirty , below the belt fighter. She’s kind, funny, a bit tacky and but has a very generous heart when she’s sober. I’d be friends with her, but if she ever turned on me with that mouth, it would be Last last thing she’d ever say to me. I’d have a mug shot, and I wouldn’t be sorry!

Dorinda SPEAKS HER TRUTH when she’s drunk. All her demons show their true colors; ripping Bethenny was straight jealousy, deflecting with LuAnn & going there by ripping her arrest & resulting mugshot, etc. She’s truly at her worst with a drink in her hand & viewers could use captions just about any time she speaks. Hot mess.

Dorinda definitely has a problem. It may not be just alcohol. She claims she only had 1 drink when she and Lu began that fight but she was slurring, glassy-eyed and spilling a drink. Maybe something else was consumed besides alcohol before this dinner.???

@co co puff Not all cokeheads get chatty and hyper, my ex had serious anger issues suddenly out of the blue and God it Was nasty and rip your heart out evil words. Once I realised what it was, no way was I having anyone around me or my daughter on Shit. Even though I was pregnant with his daughter, I wouldn't have that dangerous behaviour around an innocent baby, not someone who out of the blue told me he'd smash my f#$king teeth out of my f/ing mouth one by one (while I was carrying his child) because we were carrying on and while he tickled me I bite his sweatshirt -NOT HIM- His sweatshirt! Dorinda and He had exactly the same character reactions. Watching her is mentally distributing!

Surprised that Andy and co didn't punish Dorinda or low ball her for not sharing John with the world this season...yet did terribly by Kenya. Or how Andy defended Kim from RHOA's entitled mess, yet quick to throw someone that's helped the RHOA show get major ratings. Shoot all of last season was boring until Kenya came on board. Bloody hypocrites.

And like all her past boyfriends, when Andy gets asked to confirm it, he'd give a response that would flame the fires even more. Ever since the Kim Zolciak mess, I started seeing Andy and RH producers in a truer light.

ZeeGoes how Kim is entitled?. This women came from the buttom.. used to sleep with old married man for cars and cash.. plus how she treated her mom. I SWEAR some black folks always talk about previledge/entitled white people. While entitlement has nothing to do with race. So you obviously did not realize Kim was acting entitled all season, and more so at the reunion. You will also realize that nothing in my text mentioned race. Kim insulting the women all throughout the season and acting she was too good to be with them, was entitled. She walking off the set when the women let her know how they felt about her, and she expecting Andy to get the women off her back when it is not expected of him to do it of the others is entitled. Did you not watch the vitriol that spewed out of her mouth in the bathroom? The Kim from season 1 was semi chill, the Kim today has a giant stick up her butt and expects the women to kowtow to her when she NEEDS them to help boost her show's ratings. Many of the acts Kim pulled, like how she couldn't even go anywhere without Kroy is the biggest flag for me. She skipped on Spain because Kroy was not invited, yet there was no slap on the wrist from Andy and RH producers. Yet, in Kenya's own situation, it's a bloody uproar. Compare their stories logically and you will see how unfair Kenya has been treated compared to Kim and co that have done similar. Shoot...did we ever see Big Poppa on the show? Nope!

I like Dorinda but it seems like she is really icing Lu out here, and for what? A slightly snarky remark? She's seemed cold towards Lu in all of her interviews, and she claimed they were friends for a decade so how can she just let that friendship go? Then she let Ramona get away with continually insulting her boyfriend and vandalising her property??

Bethany called Dorinda a drunk on the plane and she didn't even flinch. Dorinda doesn't even realize Bethany set her up at the Puerto Rico dinner knowing Dorinda was wasted and Bethany wanted to film her slurring her words at the dinner table.

Yeah it's so strange. How could she go from being one of her closest friends/biggest supporters to not speaking to her since wrapping filming? This has not been a good season for Dorinda - her treatment of Sonja, Luann and Bethenny has not been good. It's actually a bit worrying how she can treat them and have a complete lack of self awareness about it. I think they (Luann, Bethenny and Sonja) all put a mirror up to Dorinda re her behaviour that she doesn't want to see and that is why she does not like them anymore. Whereas Ramona, Carole and Tinsley do not and Dorinda can continue living in denial/ignorance which she would prefer to do than face the truth...

She said to Lu, “let’s go somewhere for 21 days together!” in this last episode. If I hurt as many people as she did, and if I knew people close to me thought I had a problem, I would seriously cut back or quit! The amount of times she has hurt people or made them feel uncomfortable is terrible. That would be enough for me to take a hard look at myself, but she doesn’t want to do that. It’s sad!

Dear Dorinda, The problem that I had with your response to Luann's comment at the dinner was that your level of emotion was not appropriate for the situation. This seems to be a repeating problem with you! When you drink you get extremely aggressive and mean-spirited. Luann was really just trying to be a friend and pull you back. She didn't get up and make a big spectacle of it. She very quietly directed her comment to you. Since Luann was not drinking she had a clearer perspective and could see you headed down the path of aggression and nastiness. I think most people would want a friend to give them the heads-up and pull them back in a situation like that. If you didn't like it then the appropriate response would be something like, "excuse me Luann but I'm fine right now and please don't comment on my drinking". That would be reasonable! You don't try to eviscerate a friend like that! It would be like somebody bumping in to you and you responding by pulling a butcher's knife from your pocket book and stabling them repeatedly. The response is not appropriate for the situation. Get it together Dorinda. You are a real sloppy, mean drunk and it's unbecoming on you, darling! XOXO ,Blanca

Love how Andy cut her off on being asked back next Season she obviously doesn't have anything signed here why Andy deflected the comment !!!! Her comment of not ever having dinner with Tom is incorrect because they had a lunch with Jill and Bobby , Tom and Luann Season 9 eps 9 and a dinner with all there mutual friends Season 9 before the Marriage!!!! I don't necessarily think Dorinda is a full blown alcoholic but maybe rather has a binge drinking issue or problems with drinking where it makes her very aggressive and turn. I really have loved Dorinda and really hope she is ok, but I mean we all see what goes on the show... the slurred speech, aggressive comments, and anger that comes out only when she has been drinking. I hope she's doing good now

I think the definition of having an alcohol problem is if you have negative consequences stemming from your drinking. Dorinda definitely fits that criteria.

Agape Agency Of Virginia just saw this after typing my own response to Andy and co's terribleness! Some of the women on the RH shows don't show their men and these are people trying to protect a relationship they've had for YEARS! Yet they punish someone that has been burned EVERY time she's brought someone she was dating to the show, and low ball her for taking the smart route of protecting her new relationship before the RH vultures descend. I guess that in Andy and co's mind, those women deserve happiness and Kenya deserves to be slapped when she works on her own happiness, despite giving us good tv at the same time. So done with the entire RH everything. Once they wrap up the NY show, I'm unsubscribing to everything Andy has anything to do with. The whole situation stinks.

I agree, plus Dorinda has a substance abuse problem which is another reason she should either be forced to go to rehab or be fired! I hate that when people are on reality TV and think it's okay to show only bits of their lives, well that's not reality and if one person gets fired for it so should all of them, unfortunately what they will say is Dorinda and John aren't married or living together and Kenya is married and pregnant, I just really want Dorinda off the show, I'm sick of her nasty, mean drunk mouth and then she blames her target for her behavior, it's bullshit!!

Dorinda in total denial. No one else on the show acts like they have a drinking problem except her. Even Luann you could see was spiralling after her failed marriage. I work with children and I will NEVER forget the day one of the 5 year olds was being goofy and had the realization that the other kids were laughing AT him and not WITH him and how much that upset him. It was absolutely heartbreaking

Dorinda is really bad at deflecting the fact that she's a degenerate alcoholic with a Coke problem. Watch how she tends 2 run 2 the bathroom during her drunken exits!! Yep, never fails! Last season it was mentioned abt her habit at the reunion! Her behavior is typical!!! She needs lots of REHAB!!

Having a disfunctional relationship with alcohol isn’t black and white. You can be successful and on top of work and finances and you consume alcohol in a way that harms your relationships and/or your health.

Dorinda is one of the meanest and revengeful drunks I have ever seen. She does cheapen the franchise as someone else else mentioned. None of the other girls get nearly as drunk as she and I recall the season when she was accused of some pretty hard drugs. That is probably why she continues her relationship with John, he enables both the alcohol and drug use. One can tell, she doesn't even like him. She had better start being careful with all the car-fentanil being laced into drugs these days.

As a person with a past with alcohol I can understand Dorinda. I don't like her at all but I know that she needs to realize that she has a drinking problem. When she comes to terms with it she will try to get help. I have been sober for 20- years. I did this on my own. I knew I was in trouble and decided on a new lifestyle. I wake up happy everyday and the best thing is that I remember what I did the day before.

Bad choices Medley...the meanest drunk and I’ve known a few. She hits way below the belt, stuff that can never be forgotten! Medley needs to go to rehab and “get healthy”! The “ Jovani thing” was just embarrassing herself! She sure can’t pick men either, John is a horrible insecure man.

Kenya get's punished for hiding her husband. Andy treats the RHOA girls horribly yet that show is the MVP of the franchise. Lets face it RHOA's cast are more iconic and have more star power than other franchises. The ladies should get together and quit the show, create their own show called only "The Hotlanta" with Carlos King as executive producer and bring to Bravo since Andy is no longer the head of Bravo.

Is anyone else annoyed by how Andy is sitting and the rude face he made when the caller answered him and didn’t laugh at the joke. Also, if u are interviewing people, u show them respect. My kids know to sit straight up and lean a little forward giving the person u are talking too ur full attention. I’m sure these take much longer than we know and it might have been in the middle of a stretch, but If that’s not it, It hurts me to watch her. And Dorinda, plz plz plz get help. Remember that’s there are thousands of people that relate to u and look up to u. They need someone to lead the way and support them with the help to start being sober. It’s not ur job to motivate people or to live for them, but u have a heart of gold and I know u would love to help people! Love ya always!!

Is Dorinda an alcoholic? I don't think so...Ramona is a bit loopy and fun when she's drinks, so we all enjoy her then. Bethenny is much nicer and less stuck up, and Dorinda slobbers or lashes out at people instead. We notice her more because of how the alcohol affects her. While I do not believe she is an alcoholic, she needs to figure out what her drinking limit is and not cross over it. Moderation is all we need...have fun, but don't be a raging drunk. Not a cute look, moreso, on national tv.

Sorry Dorinda, I love you but you point the finger more than anyone, and you DO have a drinking problem. It is not normal to become that aggressive when you are drinking. I know my limits and I stop when I feel myself losing control (mostly because I've thrown up one too many times). Know your limit. It's not a good look on you. A little therapy might be a good thing for you. Seems you have some issues, maybe still grieving.

I truly understand how she feels, Luann life has taken a turn with alcoholism, so its a middle finger to a social drinker when a person that was fresh out of rehab making comments regarding someone else..Her drinking and still drinking a**..Should take several seats..I understand how she felt when she didnt luann criticism well..Dont throw stones then hide your hands..

Dorinda is a total drunk, it is embarrassing watching her. If she doesn't clean up her act, I will stop watching the show. She makes me cringe and makes me so uncomfortable when she is drunk. When she was with Bethenny at the dinner for the planning of the Porter Rico mission I was so embarrassed for Bethenny because Dorinda was so drunk.
