Honestly, the ring is irrelevant, as society is so focused on selling that as a market prize to make more profit for themselves. My parents have been married for over 30+ years, and neither of them ever had a ring. But even now when they go on a walk, they still hold each other's hands. I think it's more important how you feel about your spouse than a ring, as it becomes irrelevant at that point.

It's cute how she has plans on proposing to Kevin too. It's not common but it's also kinda like saying "I agreed to marrying you, but do you agree to marrying me?". It's funny thinking about it that way cause if someone proposed to you, it means they want to marry you, obviously, but still, it's just a cute little thought.
