The fact that our minds can project all of the details of our universe, all of the intricate architecture around us, all the complicated details of a flower, in such high resolution, with such clear sound, is truly astonishing.
But the power of our minds doesn't stop there. How we choose to view the world not only changes our perception, it literally changes how the world responds to us. When we feel love, we project love. When we project love, others see it and project it right back at us. In this RU-vid video, I talk about how we can go from seeing the world as a scary, chaotic, isolated place, to a place of peace, connection, freedom, love and joy. I swear this could have been spoken from my own mind. Well in a way it was. My simple maxim for life is "more nature more happy, less nature less happy". Thank you Todd. Even though I have been fortunate enough to have realised so much of what you talk about through my own discovery, it is so good to hear you reinforce these teachings. We all have moments where a negative life experience can overwhelm our peace, so it is wonderful to be reminded. Thank you. May be God, Buddha, Allah, YHWH, Shiva, Vishnu (the list is many) are different religeous names for the same universal consciousness.

Dear Todd, yes I believe our mindset is really most of the work. Yet it is transform because it means that certain doors are being closed and certain people turn away from you. Sometimes it is a very lonely path once you decide to grow. Oh yes, gratitude ist a major key. My daughter has a mental disability and she is a very loving caring person and has a different view or taste of life. She reminds me of living in the moment each abd every day and yet I turn to forget about it.

So many things, but I start with family, my beloved dog, spiritual teachers, the abundance of nature, mountains, oceans, trees, flowers, foods, animals, etc. Colors, sounds, tastes, smells, if I go into detail, it can take me 45 minutes😂! Or just a few minutes if a busy morning. Awesome way to start the day! Even though I am not, I feel rich!🌺

❤ thankyou . I recently had a short circuit and had a PTSD disassociated event that I nearly took my own life. I can't remember why I did what I did because I love life. But I was holding hate in my heart due to old core memory tapes about how uncaring people are. And then I disengaged and isolated myself. I backed myself into a corner. I'm out now. It was a glitch and a cry for help. I felt judged but I was just judging myself. And in constant stress to be better and prove these imaginary people wrong (myself wrong) ❤

Wonderful words and perspective of life! All of our issues individually and collectively are rooted in being disconnected from ourselves, from humanity, from Nature, and from the Divine whatever one chooses to call it. As Alan Watts said, “You can’t get wet from the word ‘water’.” What one calls it is not as important as one experiencing (being) it. We must work toward experiencing the Divine within. It is a personal journey and relationship. Regularly spend time in nature. Do some grounding/earthing to feel nature. Quietly observe its beauty and divinity. We are extension of it like we are of our parents. Connect with strangers through kindness. Connect with yourself with self care and self compassion. We are all a work in progress. We originated from a single life force that remains within us and around us. The only separation is in our mind. This false belief of separateness leads us to disrespect our bodies with unhealthy habits, each other, and nature. Everything and everyone are connected. We are part of the Oneness. Glad to meet you!

I will watch as I love the message - just wanted to say that most of the outside world we don't see/process consciously. There are 10mill sensitive inputs at all times, and our brain simply needs to filter them down to a bearable minimum. So the world is actually *not what we see, only what our human senses decide to percieve.

It's important to also realize that action can be a precursor to thought and not always vice versa. You can change your mind by doing the right things and taking the right actions. Most of us know deep down what those actions/steps are, but our minds trick us into procrastinating and delaying the "difficult" road ahead. But once you start taking steps and moving forward, you get some momentum. From there, you just ride it out.

This is so beautiful. I try to look at everyone and see a light inside them. Even when i am disgusted by someone i try to see a small glimmer somewhere in them. Thank you for this video. It could not have popped in front of me at a better time. The way the world is going has gotten my heart so full of hate that it is eating me from the inside out. I am going to change this. Luckily I already live in the middle of nowhere in the mountains and I'm trying to sell sustained through permaculture and I'm producing real healthy good food. So I am blessed for that. I struggled with severe alcoholism for over 20 years and it almost killed me. I was drinking because I was running from something. And when you stop drinking that something comes up on you so fast it usually scares me back into the liquor store. But I've somehow managed to maintain my sobriety for 3 years and I'm striving to deal with all the stuff that I procrastinated with alcohol for so long. It is not easy

I have learned that dual thinking causes division between me and everything else, but when I grasp that all is really one and all belongs, then much drops away e.g. competitiveness, judging, tribal thinking, .... We are not alone but are all in the flow, whether we realize it or not.

Do you really believe that everyone wants a good life? To be kind and have stability and love? This whole piece resonates with me, I have just had difficulties with some people who I love and they have chosen to be nasty, mean and deceitful. I get that perhaps it isn’t their fault because of upbringing, being wired badly, but I had an awful upbringing and I still choose to do the right thing and treat people with love and kindness. Do we forgive the people that hurt us and allow them to stay in our lives or do we forgive them and step back from them?

For every effect there is a cause. Follow the chain of effects and you get to one primal cause. That which is the source of everything. We all know the same truth because we are all connected to it at the source. Many call this source God, others refer to the same thing with other similar names, scientists may even refer to this idea as “the universe”. All of these labels are pointers to the same concept. All religions are talking about the same thing. This is how it works, everyone can call their creator whatever they want bc deep down we all serve this Force in the same way. And if we violate this almighty power we all know our fate, at least those who have become aware of their connection. Look into your soul and do what you know is good and right for everyone and everything. Love and be loved. This is the way. May peace and Love find their way to you all!
