Thank you so much for this video! Shimbashi is one of my favourite places in Tokyo. During my last trip to Tokyo I stayed very close to Shimbashi Station. It is wonderful to "travel" back to Shimbashi streets with you.

Shimbashi was a place for me to change from JR to Yurikamome when I was heading to Odaiba. Nest time I will spend more time to explore this area as there are many good small local restaurants. Are tourists not manage to speak Japanese welcome in this kind of restaurants?
These days I've been surprised to see many foreign tourists dining at very small restaurants at very small alleys in Tokyo that are pretty hard to find. Which indicates that so many foreign tourists are visiting Japan now. In a big city like Tokyo, staff at those restaurants may not speak English well but I think they are ready and used to welcoming foreign visitors.
