Man, it doesn't get into my head how people always defend traitors because the op "stayed away from home", as if betrayal had any justification. Don't you like the relationship? Ask for a divorce but don't cheat Especially when the OP leaves home to support his family.
That enrages me. Like yea, he was away from home, away providing for his fcking family. They say that bullsht as if he just went out to parties, bars, or clubs and was just completely neglecting his family And then the cherry on top is when the wife uses that money on a certain lifestyle while cheating. Yeah I'm really starting to think these stories are fake though, like I know this stuff really happens, but if this woman was really an executive at a company, she would have been smart enough to know that she could win in court because there was no proof of her cheating... Or she easily could have blackmailed the c eyo and found a new job or at least black meal for better references. Types of greenups you really have to prove the infidelity, and she easily could drag it out in court and say that he was the one actually cheating.. Story just ended way too cleanly to be real@@Maninawig
Typically, they are cheaters themselves or contemplated it. The number of stories where people backup and downplay cheaters behavior for their own affairs to come out are staggering.
Story 2 : "She admitted she made the worst mistake of her life."... No no no, that wasn't a mistake, that was a choice. It's incredible how cheaters always say the same things and downplay their disgusting acts of betrayal as "mistakes", clearly not wanting to take accountability nor responsibility. They disgust me...
It's really disappointed how many people don't know the definition of mistake and the definition of accident because they are not synonyms a mistake is specifically a choice that you make that you later regret because it was the incorrect choice an accident is not a choice it can quite literally be putting the milk on the wrong shelf and it falling over an accident is almost uncontrollable a mistake again is a choice that is made that you later regret can I hear some copy and paste the information on the differences A mistake is a wrong judgment or decision, while an accident is an unexpected eventThink of “mistake” as “incorrect” and “accident' as “unintentional and unexpected.” A person could make a mistake quite innocently! Example: getting the incorrect sum when adding a column of numbers. A person could also make a mistake and choose to harm an innocent person.
But why not saying "I made the worst choice of my life", then ? I still think using the term "mistake" is a way to distance oneself from the situation, and try and find an excuse/"justification".@@Kevin-og1zx
That affair fog is potent. People will ruin their lives, emotionally damage their families, and financially bankrupt themselves for a cheap, short-lived thrill. Then, when the fog clears, the cheater is left with shards of their lives to repair or start anew. It's not worth it. There is no justification for cheating.
_People will ruin their lives, emotionally damage their families, and financially bankrupt themselves for a cheap, short-lived thrill._ It still feels so surreal how people can literally screw themselves out of a good life with good people all because the affair fog is that potent.I guess this is one of those examples of "life being weirder than fiction". Imo, people cheat because they're too scared of leaving their safe life, the safety net they have with their original partner, they might find their life boring but they certainly don't want to fear getting old alone or not having a financial safety net.So they cheat because they want their cake and wat it too, because they're cowards unwilling to commit and do the right thing that is to divorce first and THEN act on their feelings. They want the thrill but also want the safety nets.
And affair fog doesn't exist, the rational part of the brain is always there, it cannot be fogged, it's a choice, every single time the cheater decides to cheat (unless he/she is intoxicated), it's a conscious decision not marred by some hypothetical "fog"
@@uselessmoron6947it's called affair fog because of the fact that cheaters almost never actually fully think through their actions and how it affects other people. "Ah yes, i will cheat and i know that rationally if i am caught then my significant other will probably hate me and we'll split and our assets will split too and custody on my part will be affected or even lost if we have kids, etc..." is never in the minds of cheaters, which is why in these stories, the aftermath is always uncertain and a surprise to all parties involved. Cheaters have agency for sure, but they sure as hell don't actually weigh the outcomes of each and every action they take, which is why they so often look stupid
Story 1: There's nothing to be fixed isn't it? More like it can't be fixed. She was caught red handed BEGGING the AP to take her back and somehow she has this delusion that OP would forgive her and give their marriage another chance after OP caught her doing that lol, lmao even
Women have the tea spilled all over your desk and they're still asking to clean it up. Sometimes we get caught up in very pathetic situations. Get your shit together. I mean, before everything goes to shit completely.
My dad works in a different area 3 hours away from my city and he only visits every 2 to 3 week sometime even a month to stay for a week. And Both parents never cheat on each other, even though it's so easy to do so. Heck some people living together everyday 27/7 365, would cheat on their partners. It's not about long distance. This is what happens when your partner bend their values, morals and loyalty.
Do these psychotically competitive people ever do so with others that want to compete with them? The Wife from the 2nd Story was so hung up on being better she decided to cheat just because she wanted her sister's Husband.
Remember, cheating is a choice and being drunk/high/drugged is only an excuse for the first time. That woman got caught begging AP to take her back and had the gall to the they could fix the marriage.
So in story one, he heard her beg to be her bosses mistress but still asked him to take her back as if she didn’t know he was standing right behind her??? She’s out of her mind.
Can never understand why people cheat, if your not happy in your relationship split up with them before you bed someone else. Will admit second story doesnt surprise me when OP said his brother in law was in law enforcement i gad a feeling the wife would cheat with him, they say that those in law enforcement cheat more than any other profession 😞
Story 1: the red flag was that she at first didn’t want to reunite with the husband then wanted to, countering all the reasons she didn’t want to move in the first place. Also. How she go say she wanted to fix the marriage when she was trying to get AP back. Oh right, because she was losing her meal ticket. She wanted her cake and eat it too.
Story 1, I wish these creative writing pieces were more believable. How many Americans do you know refer to elementary school "academic sessions" starting, or "shifting" houses?
