Great find on SaladMaster. I found a skillet with no handle a few months ago. Bought replacement handle on eBay. Sold for $255 in a week. Only had $20 in including handle I got for $18. Always pick up SaladMaster. Love your video content.
From Google: The five countries covered by the Mundo Maya are Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Belize and the southern and western provinces of Mexico, especially the three provinces of Yucatan, Campeche and Quintana Roo that collectively form the Yucatan Peninsula.
That little hound dog in the basket. We had one when I was a kid just like that. His name was booger. He was a real dog.He was a good dog. Hope you guys are doing well. Take care.😊
Yes I’ll buy the Johnsonville grill all day long for $40. The sold comp of $125 on May 16 is actually mine. I only paid $23 for the one I sold but still, $40 is a great profit. Mine sold in less than a day!
Here's the thing, my aunt got on my back when I was a kid about using the word ain't and as I got older I could always hear her in my ear "stop saying ain't" so I made myself stop using it just to find that the more I watch you the more you're rubbing off on me and I caught myself twice now using that word, now I have to break the Habit all over again. Thanks a lot Julian!!! 😂😂😂 Hey you guys are killing it and making things work! Keep it up! ❤
My mom was the same. She's say "ain't isn't a word." Then Webster put it into the dictionary, so she changed it to "Saying ain't makes you sound crass."
Pretty sure the policeman with the white helmet is from the Isle of Man. That would make that motorbike race the TT races. The riders are push starting the bikes at the start so has to be before 1947. A nice piece of racing history
I think Kat The Nurse Flipper found one of those Ikea hats at a thrift store in her area. I didn’t know they made those-but then again, no Ikea’s near me either. 😊
The elephant is the lighter onyx that is usually carved. You see candle holders, soap dishes, animals, etc in the import stores where the $$$ often goes back to the craftsman.
This is a fun channel to watch. Have you ever thought about making merch with “not too shabby” possibly with your beard underneath or not. Keep up the great work you both are awesome.
The little onyx elephant is a rather common tourist item for sale in most Mexican gift shops. Costs about $5-$6 in US dollars. Mexican onyx comes in tans, reds, white, grays, browns and black - they make lovely chess sets made of onyx. I have collected onyx stuff for more than 50 years now. ❤👵❤
I saw that fish locator today too! (Mkt Common) Right down from that in the vase section I picked a Tarnow Poland Open Hole vintage decanter for $3 (on Etsy for $44) and another beautiful crystal vase for $8 ($53 online). Was looking for things for the booth and my home today. Oh I did find a nice shell-filled lamp that I'm keeping too! Love the Ikea bucket hat! 😂
Oh, and The Store....yesss! Ms. Sue knows her stuff and nothing is priced, which kinda makes it difficult. The place on 544 just went under new ownership and the thrift shop next door is meh. I used to own Fisher's Finds (sold in Feb). Ever been by there?
I worked for a public school as cafeteria Manager and we had one of those shred machines. It was very old , the stand was a metal top with a suction on the bottom to hold in place.
I have my mother’s salad master. I watched her make coleslaw and pimento cheese using it. Wonderful childhood memories. I need to get that treasure back out because it works better than a food processor for shredding veggies.
Highly suggest giving the Johnsonville a try before selling. It makes sausage perfectly! Also, the Sandicast Dog was cool. I just picked up a large Labrador one a couple weeks ago. There is an adorable bull terrier one listed on eBay for sale right now!
I picked up two Tiffany and Co. champagne glasses in my local GW last week. Perfect, sold new in a set for $125. There are some bargains, like those, but also some ridiculous high prices, like in the same store, selling used terry hand towels for $8.99 each ! I couldn't believe the ridiculous pricing.
Yes bucket hat hand made because us upcycle sewists wont let anything use go to landfill without recreating it. I always sewed since a child remaking my own thrift store clothing that I still do! I live mostly used all my life but now sell my jean bags and more because in the smaller town I retired to eveyone kept askign where I got them. Im still under the yearly hobby limit of my state but its good to save landfill and get a little extra money ...to buy my needles, thread etc.
Looks like the police helmet in the b and W photo was being worn by a british bobby with a rain cover on his helmet. My husband was a special and they had covers, they were a sort of raincoat stuff and elasticated to stay on. The bump on the top is covering the helmet top which had a bump to reinforce them if they got hit over the head.
I definitely need to move to a different state here in New Jersey are goodwill’s have crap and I do mean crap and the crap they have is overpriced lol congrats on your growing channel growing every day❤
Millers studio is in my hometown and I have many friends and a sister who retired from there. Look up the story about how he Miller family. Very interesting!!!!! I also know some of the family members.
I was hoping one of yall would mimick the lebron james meme when looking at the shoes. Really proud of Kayla for being on the up and up on the memes lol
Why would he not buy it and make 3X his money? Higher quality items bring big bucks. You’d have to list and sell 8 items at $15 to get that type of profit.
The Saladmaster makes me so sad! I just sold one for $50 that was in the original box and had all of the attachments. It was marked as a Saladmaster/meat grinder. 😢😢😢
Ive seen a similar item to the salad master but its like a manual food processer, called King something. Ive always wanted one of those but never saw one.
Our chevron's point up because we have never lost a battle on home turf. That black and white photo is a MotoGP race And for some reason I want to say it happened in Monaco
For artwork, the easiest thing to do is to look at it from the side. What is the texture? Is there a differentiation between the paper and the image? Finally, look at it with a loop. If Kayla doesn’t have a loop in that bag, y’all need one!
You can buy a good lighted loop for about 10 to 20 dollars. Maybe less but I don't remember what I paid for mine. I love it!! Every thrifter and jewelry maker should carry one and a small measuring tape just fyi.
Hey guys. Do yall still have the glass double candle holder that you found in in a storage bin? I would love to see it up close and purchase it. Does it have any "flea bites"? small chips? Ty
Elephant is green onyx, aka green banded calcite :) It's not actually onyx. The "green onyx, or mexican onyx etc" it's just brand name. Don't ask me why they do that.
