Unlike all the other parts of the anime from Season 2 onward (which use the standard studio versions), FL2 definitely has rerecorded songs, plus the various effects/etc to help make it sounds more "live". All the songs by the four real world live bands (Poppin'Party, Roselia, Morfonica, RAS) are fully rerecorded, instruments and vocals, though for the three non-live bands... I've honestly had trouble figuring out exactly what magic they worked here. "Live" effects aside, the instruments do seem to be the studio recordings at their core, but the vocals may be rerecorded? But what's even weirder is that, even though they released a CD of all the songs for FL1 (despite them simple being short versions of the existing standard studio versions), they never released the FL2 songs at all... despite them being different recordings. Given this, and that it seems to be only/mainly the actual live bands that have rerecorded songs, I'm wondering if their FL2 songs are taken from real world live shows, rather than specifically rerecorded for FL2. Would be pretty neat. :)
@@qhota That's definitely part of it, but the big thing seems to be that they raised the vocals volume quite a bit compared to the instruments, which makes them "feel" rather different despite being the same recordings.
@@limonero9577 Afterglow / Pastel✽Palettes / Hello, Happy World! are made up of well-known seiyuu rather than musicians, so they don't do concerts, no. Some of their members do know various instruments, but within the context of bandori they don't play live. The vocalists have been part of multiple real concerts though, as well as Sachika (Moca) who, without any obligation to do so, has also played guitar (at a respectable amateur level) at at least one of the concerts too. There have been live events though, all five Afterglow members just held one last month. :)
0:56-0:58 Ran's expression was really attractive. Also, I like how while everyone else is wearing black and/or red bottoms, Tsugu was the only one wearing her color's skirt
