@@they2kguy822 I don't agree. People keep talking about how corporate Guitar Hero was, yet Rock Band was the one filling their setlists with all the corporate music. Sure, there were indie tracks, but most of them sucked. (Although I do hear why Tegan and Sara are popular. The Con is pretty good) The vast majority of Guitar Hero 5 and 6 songs were all bangers for me.
Can somebody explain to me what is the "matel" thingy on the yellow note on the drums means? never seen it when I played, and I played GH:WOR for pretty long time...
+TheUltrux It was a DLC song, and also in GH5 on SOME versions of the game, though not all. They made it available for download in the GH shop before they shut it down. The wiki says it was in GH5, but it also lists it as DLC for GH5, not in the actual setlist. I own GH5, and it's not in there, though it could be version exclusive.
***** I got the Rock Band track pack just for this and a few others on it, but I never got my PC to run GH3, it always gave me issues that prevented it from running. Also, I don't have the time or know-how to get a PS3 guitar controller to work on PC, either. If you know anything, I would be VERY interested, as they took down the GH servers to buy songs from, and there's a lot I still want to play.
***** It does, but the last time I tried, the PC wouldn't even acknowledge it as a connected device, much less interact with it. That was over a year ago, and on my older computer, so it might be more worth it to try again on this new rig.
You can see in the sustained notes that it tapes on the higher notes without breaking the sustain. Normally, that's what that'd do, but here it doesn't. You also can't play chords if you're holding in any other frets than the ones you're supposed to play.
+Mudkip Yoshi the game does this weird lag thing online that it shows the notes being hit but not the accurate buttons pressed. On his screen, his fretboard looks as legitimate as the bassist.
+JohnTheFum Too bad that aside from controller abuse, PS3 is superior in every single way. Hardware, technology, backwards compatibility (not all), size.
***** I will concede that people can have game preferences, but you people cannot deny the hardware specs portion. That's my only point here. I'm not looking to war.
