17.4 is now unsigned. The solution: Connect tag-on flex cable with programmed 100% battery health to device. Let the device show original battery due to apple patch (for example 86%). Flash to 17.4.1 (make sure that you tick "fix battery health" in 3utools) Device will still show 86% Flash AGAIN to 17.5 beta (before flash make sure that 3utools detects battery as 100%). If 17.5 beta doesn't work, try again with 17.5 beta 2. Congratulations your iPhone is at 100% again (worked for me with 14 pro and 11)
@@lordsumer2277 I just solved the issue with an iOS 17.4.1 (iPhone 12 Pro). I flashed 17.5 beta 2, didn't work. I flashed 17.5 beta 3, didn't work. I flashed 17.4.1, it worked. I don't really know why. Looks like you just gotta keep trying (always mark the solve battery health on 3utools)
@@Levi1osa. im trying to increase the battery health on previous update I was able to now everything I do it stays on 89% ( I use preprogrammed battery flex )
Hi REWA, iOS 17.5.1 is gone and now flashing to 17.6 won't fix battery health. Any solutions? 😭 Edit: Reprogramming again and flashing again to 17.6 fixed the battery health :)
Trust me, i got it done via same process and 2-3 weeks later, phone started acting weird. Automatic restart at anytime no matter whats the battery charge percent. Finally got it change through apple centre n the nightmare stopped.
u need to calibrate battery on ios. how? use ur phone until 0% and wait few hours (in my case, when bedtime) after that charge into 100% and wait until 1hours (10w charge) then u can unplug the charge. do this 2 times and in my case its works fine.
Hi REWA, I have tried to flash iOS 18 and check "fix battery health" but 3utools give error and flash is not complete. 3utools error says: "unable to exit restore mode". If I try to fix battery health with iOS 17.7 the error doesn't happen. I think this is another restriction from Apple? Any solutions?
for all the iphone models apart from iphone 15, the battery replacement process with no message is exactly the same right? it does not effect the other models from 14 to 11. or does it effect every iphone once you have update to ios17.4
have done this on 17.4.1 and it didn't work out still the old battery health gonna try it with 17.4 upd: reflashing to 17.4 with "fixing battery health" gets it done luckily 17.4 is not unsigned yet
Great video thank you. I replaced new cell with original BMS cable.(tag on , W09 pro) then i did flush wit use 3utools. battery health shown 100% but still remain "service" message. (Before shown 68%) Do you know how to fix? 12 pro , ios ver 17.3 ,17.4.1 and 17.5 was same situation. Please help
You never showed what to do if service battery message pop up after phone resets because of battery failure. Even if you change and program with tag new battery the message is shown with 100% battery health. So there is 2 service messages: 1. Under 80% battery health and it’s fixed by tag on flex and programming. 2. Phone crashed due to unstable battery voltage - service always shown Can you please make a video about it? Everywhere is silence about that.
@@rewatechnology2008 iPhone has exprienced an unexpected shutdown because was unable to deliver the necessary peak power. After that service message will be shown and even when u replace battery and change to 100% battery health service message will be displayed.
it might work but just to be safe its recommended to back up your data, bcs my friend once accidentally erased customer data although he choose the "retain data" option ☺️
Try this one, it can help you repair true tone Repair tools: REFOX RP30 True Tone Restore Programmer: shop.rewa.tech/detail/refox-rp30-restore-programmer-for-iphone.html
Strange thing happened: just did 12 mini battery replacement and i had no need to restore the iPhone to get correct battery health . Guess this affects only 14-15 series? I updated the phone to 17.4 prior to the repair so i can see how it is
When calibrating a battery using a JC Programmer, you can set the battery health and cycle count to any number you want (e.g If I replaced my phone battery with a genuine apple battery from another iphone that I knew had a battery health of 94% and Cycle count 350, I would programme the new battery with these numbers after BMS transfer and the the health in settings would show 94%. But regardless of how I programme the tag on flex, Flashing the iphone with 3u tools always sets the health to 100%. Is there a way to flash the phone so shows the battery health and cycle count I put in?
1. Can the tag-on flex be removed after 3utools restore with battery fix option? 2. If the tag-on flex is removed after 3utools restore, would the battery health revert back to normal if the phone was restored via iTunes after? 3. Is iOS 17.3.1 affected? Thanks!
For 1st and 2nd question, we suggest you keep the tag-on-flex as long as it does not make defference to repair. For 3rd question, now usually IOS 17.4 will lead to this problem, IOS 17.3.1 should be OK
As you can see in this vedio we already shared you the way that we do not need to use the tag on flex, and it is using the JC programmer to deal with this problem, and all of these repair methods needs to flash the phone to complete
What do you mean no welding solution? If the BMS is not transferred, then cannot do anything. So how can you transfer the BMS with no spot welding? And what is the "bug exploit solution"? Does not need the BMS at all? The "bug" is only exploited for a specific IOS version? What happens after?
Good job Rewa, I saw a lot videos on RU-vid that battery is no needing welding more , just replace the BMS to the new battery. How easy repair can be more 😃👍👌
for something that's bound to degrade overtime apple certainly made life very difficult for everybody other than paying apple very high battery cost, for old device its simply not worth it (but that's the intention of apple to make you buy their new phone)
I’m on 17.4 and i don’t have same info as you at 0:20 i don’t have cycle count i have exactly like 17.3.1 🧐 edit: ok only iphone 15 models … i use 14 pro max 😒
