Type R is dope dude, quick question. How did you ground the horn to the hub? I have the wires in my steering wheel but the grounding wire is kinda just sitting in the hub😭, haven’t had a working horn for almost a year. If you can give me some pointers that’d be great
So the horn button's back is metal and designed to basically just touch the ground to complete the circuit when u press it. So you just need to connect the ground from ur car to the hub using a bolt or nut&bolt
I see you only connected one wire to the horn the signal wire. What happen to ground? Also what air bag resistor did you use?. I have some just like those and I try 2 set and dont work.
2ohm resistor airbag error cancelers by nrg. The horn just needs 1 wire because when you press the horn on aftermarket steering wheels, it's basically completing the circuit by grounding when you push it in.
Cool. Thank. I installed a momo set up in my fk8 and having issue with air bag light on. I check everything like 3 times. I pull the code and it said resistance may be high or lose connection. Probably the resistor issue. I got my kit from steering solution. Also I have a ground to the horn and signal so it works. I only ask because I was curious. Ima try see if the NRG resistor fix my issue.
@@Kodawari.FK8 where did you get the NRG resistor from?. Are they the one that say 2.2 ohm resistor that I see on there site. I know these cars use a 2.0 ohm resistor for air bag.
