Yes, I recommend getting the shuttle pass. It picks up at CAL Expo this year. Last year it picked up at the old Arco Arena. Looks like it’s $25 plus $5 fee. I would recommend buying them ASAP because they increased the price last year after the festival started. Uber/Lyft is also an option. Although, that could get expensive because I think they have their surge rates during the festival. Good luck, and have fun at the festival!

The park-and-ride shuttle service is detailed on the Aftershock website. Yes, each person in your vehicle that is planning on riding the shuttle will need to purchase a shuttle pass. Each shuttle pass also acts as a parking pass. You park your car at Cal Expo and shuttles run throughout the day on each day of the festival. Like I said, more detailed information on this is on the website. There's quite a bit of info on there regarding times and frequencies of the shuttle before and after each day of the festival. I wouldn’t say there are plenty of benches, but there are some throughout the park. I think most of the benches are in the VIP area. I believe most people just sit down on the grass. The grass is actually pretty nice in most areas. I think they even planted grass this year in the dirt area where the merchandise is sold, near the back entrance next to the second main stage. I think they did that to keep the dust down. It can get very dusty when everyone is exiting. Hope this helps, and hope you enjoy Aftershock this year. It should be awesome! 🤘😎

There is very limited parking around Discovery Park. If you know the area well, you might be able to stealth park in a neighborhood or at a business and walk. Mid town and old town will most likely be filled up also because of the King’s Fan Fest today at DOCO. Maybe try Uber. Good luck! 👍

There is a small lot you can park in that cost 40$ if you make it before its filled.

I’ve never got the VIP tickets before. I was just checking out the VIP Info on the website, and you get a lot of benefits with the VIP tickets. Although, it’s quite a bit higher in price, but if you can afford it, I think it’s worth the money. Have fun! 🤘

Yes, they were checking everyone. I set mine up on the “Clear” app so I didn’t have to carry my vaccine card with me. 👍

I’m not vaxxed but got a test done the day before the fest. Took a screenshot of the negative test. They checked that and gave a “healthy” wrist band for all four days. Total time messing with it.....maybe 1 minute. Aftershock was amazingly well organized.

Question, is a good idea to use uber to get out of the festival? Im going from outside the US

Yes, Uber would be good. Although, Uber has the surge pricing during the festival, and it can be expensive. I parked at Arco Arena for $10 and took a shuttle bus to Discovery Park. If you won’t have a car, Uber would probably be the best option. 🤘

@@para00420 When we went the shuttle was well worth it. Quick in and out….especially after a long day….the quick in and out was nice. I’d say it was worth it.

Yes, Uber would be a good option, but I think a lot of people will be taking Uber to get home and that can create delays. It could also be expensive because they may have surge rates during that time. I took the shuttle last year, and it was pretty efficient and inexpensive. it’s good to buy the shuttle pass ASAP because if you wait, they will increase the price as the festival gets closer. Check out the “pass info” menu on the Aftershock website. It has a lot of FAQs. It looks like they mail the wristbands to you. Although, If you buy your wristband after the deadline, you will need go to the will-call desk the day of the show and pick it up there. It says you need your original receipt/email and a government ID. That’s what I had to do when I went because I bought mine the day before I went last year. Hope this helps. Have fun at the show! 🤘

I didn’t realize you were not in the US. I got this from the website. “All international orders (including Canadian orders) will be available for pick up at the Box Office. Please bring your order confirmation and government-issued photo ID” Just make sure you bring your ID and your order confirmation.👍

The gates open at noon on Sunday, and the shuttles start running from ARCO Arena an hour before the gates open. Have fun! 🤘
