I think you misunderstood what the song is trying to imply. William doesnt regret killing kids, he just doesnt like the pain he is in. It literally ends with him saying that if he could take his actions back, he wouldnt. I dont get why people try and make william a sympathetic character. Dude kills children, died, kills adults, burns, tries to kill even more adults, burns again, and tries to kill children again. He is irredeemable and the bad guy.
@@gacha_shadow_hare it's just very weird to see his victims, the people he slaughtered and used, cry for him while he is actively enjoying the torment he caused.
