It's always so.....offputting and a bit scary to see the strong rock of the house break into tears. The one and only time I saw my dad in tears was the Christmas right after Grandad died (it was literally the Wedensday before Christmas that he passed). Only me and my sister were with my dad and I've never felt more at a loss of what to do as I did then and a glance at my sister told me she wasn't sure what to do either so all we could do was hug him and rub his back.

The one and only time it have I cried is when my granddad passed away right after my birthday he didn't even come to say happy birthday cuz that's right when he died and I'm sorry for your loss I guess we both have something in common 💙😭🥺😇
