Thanks for the updates Travis. I remember my old AFX set and racing with school friends(early 70’s) mounted on a 4x8 sheet of plywood with what I thought was fantastic scenery. Lots of fun 👍
Great stuff Travis! I'm still waiting on that Porsche 914/6 Marathon de la Route 1970 3 Car Set Item# SRC-900112 from SRC that I pre-ordered in 2022. I had heard there was issues with the paint work from the factory, so they sent them all back to be fixed, but not sure. I'm hoping that gets released soon! Cheers and thanks for the news!
Great to see some of those old Afx back. In fact, I was behind the VW and Peugeot because I do really like them. So I will wait a bit. When I restarted with the hobby a few years ago I was excited about AFX, but later low quality control make me feel a bit disappointed and I started to buy less. Of course I am going to buy those F1 🙂
Good stuff Trav 👍 A product sent to you isn't really free if you're doing marketing...There's more than a bit of effort that you put into promoting slot companies and the hobby as a whole. Fair trade imo 🤝🏎️💨🏁
@@thatslotcarguy Of course it does. They are a small team of dedicated guys and gals, and they can only do so much. 6 months spent bring back, say, an old Group C car (much as I would love that) is six months that can never be spent working on, say, a new LeMans hypercar.
