My dad always thought that a an uneven stand in any crop was like having another weed stripping yield from the neighboring plants the later emerging plants stole yield from the first plant that emerged. Hey guys. I have a question about strip till. Would you recommend strip tilling down the same row from last year or should I go between last years rows ? We farm dry land sand in South Alabama if that makes any differences. We are applying anhydrous and 32% with the strip tiller and broadcasting chicken manure before tilling.
